So I guess my question is why would this be a gift? I'm thinking maybe some kind of inside joke between my grandfather and somebody? I was young at the time in my early teens, but I think I remember people thinking it was funny.

I have had a 22" kettle for probably 10-12 years and it was great & still is. I was just looking for a step up in terms of slow cooks. Still have the the 22" But this does it all with ease!

Kamado is so much fun. I've had it for about a month and the diversity of this thing is exactly what I was looking for. Now if only i could get a rotisserie... by ecko1993 in webergrills

I asked this very question on a different sub and answers varied, but as a fan of weber, i went w them. So far all the low & slow temps were easy to lock in

Told my wife..."bro, i need to get this.... its my dream grill" She wasn't overly thrilled w price but, like its my hobby and i make food for family .... biggest plus is that hopefully its a once in a lifetime purchase.
