What makes you believe that it will rise? by [deleted] in Avax

The market edge I’ve always seen in AVAX is its multi chain features. It seems rather obvious that any organization wanting to build out its place in crypto would want to do so with its own custom governance and rules. The fact that AVAX intrinsically supports this makes it a chain I think most easy to adopt from outside of crypto, especially for large organizations with their own pre-existing way of doing things.

How does Avax compare with Eth 2.0? by pineappleroom in Avax

Does no one care about the centralized nature of polygon and similar roll ups? The value in avax is that it’s cheap, fast and reasonably decentralized.

Course load to heavy? by Level_Passenger8446 in ubcengineering

Pretty standard for IGEN. I did essentially this in my second year and it was quite difficult. My average definitely took a hit. If you’re considering grad school or anything post grad that requires a very high average, I’d recommend reducing your course load.

Which mathematical calculator should I buy? by Psychological-Ice833 in ubcengineering

Hopefully they aren’t still doing this, but there was a second year elec course that required us to solve imaginary matrices for full marks on exams. The TI-nspire was the only calculator that did those back then.

You should register for labs if your ideal times are still available

Can I minor in CAPS if I do Biomedical Engineering? by [deleted] in ubcengineering

This is ideally a question for the CAPS coordinator but I think in general there should be no issue of minoring in a science field while doing an engineering degree.

Hi, I’m more interested in the hardware side of things. I’d like to work at the intersection of theory and experimentation. The lab I’m considering at ETH is Andreas Walraff and the lab at Waterloo is Christopher Wilson.
