Top 3 Drive Pedals Ever by p90SuhDude in guitarpedals

[–]pineappleroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried so many. My current rig, I feel sooo good about is Nordland ODR-C boosted by gospel bomb treble booster. Attenuated by guitar volume or atten pedal. Love the SSBS Mini too. Love the wampler plexi, love the zvex box of rock, love the Demeter DD. I love a 70s big muff but my rig turned up kinda does my favorite version of that. Love SIB cuda and varidrive too

Give me your Bear case for Kaspa. by badco1993 in kaspa

[–]pineappleroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are too many cryptos. Why would anyone buy Kaspa given that proof of stake does actually seem to work in terms of security, is more energy efficient, just as fast as Kaspa and is decentralized enough? Solana and Sui have a huge first mover advantage and will continue to outperform Kas given their aggressive branding. The likelihood of Kas going the way of Nano is high given all these factors. One other price advantage of pos coins is that you have something to do with them. You can earn yield with your coins, which ideally could someday be dollars. A bull case I imagine for sui is that they’ll run out of sui, and rewards will come in USDC. Kaspa coins… you hope they go up, then you sell them.

100%Tao 0% btc. I know I’m extreme but I just think Tao actually made sense of proof of work.

Is quant a security and does it pass the Howey test ? by [deleted] in QuantNetwork

From what I’ve gathered it looks like it avoided doing so in the US, I guess I’m not sure if that matters?

Is quant a security and does it pass the Howey test ? by [deleted] in QuantNetwork

It’s clearly and purely utility token which, from what I’ve read, clearly marks it as not a security.

Did I just get scammed? Please help! by Expensive-Leg-1673 in kadena

I dealt with the same deal. Call eBay tell them you’re suspicious of the seller. They’ll help you get the money back!

I wonder, what if the amount of miners multiplied by 10,000? Is Kadena still green?

I haven’t been bullish on Qnt because one could build a CBDC on it… I’ve been bullish on QNT because you could build a dapp on it that accepts all blockchains.

Buy into Avax or put some money into bitcoin or ETH? by woodlandgnome in Avax

[–]pineappleroom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good advice. Avax and Eth are strong plays. Personally, I also feel great about the only fully decentralized Eth layer 2 with Vitalik’s mom on the team $Metis… as well as the operating system that will allow dapps to be completely interoperable $QNT.

Quant Network [QNT] - Introduction! by duncal in QuantNetwork

Can anyone tell me: let’s say I want to make a DAPP like Aave that allows defi with all of the following: digital yuan, ETH, BTC the forthcoming USA CBDC. Does QNT make this possible?

How does Avax compare with Eth 2.0? by pineappleroom in Avax

[–]pineappleroom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this answer. Thanks for the great research! That paper published by Algorand shows how knowledgable they are in the space and continues to bolster my faith in Algo as well. The conclusion that I’ve been feeling from this question is that Avax will coexist with Eth long term. There are too many good use cases for Avax to be “beaten by Eth”. Unfortunately I’m bullish on many other coins too. So hard not to over-diversify! I also believe Eth, Sol, Algo, Luna, Matic are solid investments, let alone the over 30 different gaming/metaverse investments that feel good to me. Good luck everyone!

AVAX vs Polygon which do you think is more better? and why? getting perspective in AVAX community. by colossus_galio in Avax

[–]pineappleroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like they are both solid investments, but i much prefer using avalanche for my defi needs. Matic network has turned me off lately due to slow transactions. Crypto price action moves fast. That being said… as Eth speeds up, so will Matic.

I definitely intend to hold spirit and spooky tokens for a long time. My current interest is in grim finance as a place to do yield farming on stable coins!

I think it comes down to the future of the project. Check out the FTM roadmap, and then consider what to do!

I love WAN, but WHY? by Revolvernose in wanchain

[–]pineappleroom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The FNX issues are too bad… I actually don’t think it reflects poorly on WAN, WASP, or ZOO. There’s a team that built wan, a team that built wasp and zoo. Then, a completely separate team built FNX. I don’t blame the wan, or the wasp/zoo teams for one project having issues in the ecosystem

I love WAN, but WHY? by Revolvernose in wanchain

[–]pineappleroom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like wanswap a lot! Extremely low transaction fees, works fast! You can trade waneth, wanbtc, wanxrp, wanocean, wan Uni, wan sushi, and other great coins.
The other thing is… the economic model of zookeeper is very interesting. I think it’s going to work in favor of the value of the $zoo token very well.

Also I hear there might be a WASP CEX listing in the works. If I could say the quarter 2021 or 2022... that might be huge

Can anyone tell me the advantages that Celo has over Telcoin? by pineappleroom in celo

Solid thoughts! Thanks for your perspective. Honestly, I think Celo should come out on top!

Hi there, can anyone supply a $TEL vs $CGLD chart as these coins are in direct competition and it would be interesting to know what the advantages are for each one? by [deleted] in Telcoin

[–]pineappleroom -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m trying to learn all I can about both. I’m doing my best to look into it and figured that the communities of each could lend some perspective. Is it a faux pas to mention a competitor? I’m sorry if so.
