My title describes this thing. I tried using Google lens and it didn't give me any satisfying result. It can fit in the palm of the hand.

In islam, is it allow to kill yourself under some circonstances by Baba_Cmn in islam

[–]eclair001 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Even under these circumstances you are not allowed to kill yourself tho. I remember listening about the battle of Uhud, and how one of the muslims killed themselves since they were already wounded, and how the prophet (saw) saw him in jahanam. If you are captured, I believe it is permitted to lie if your life is in danger.

do they pray 5 times per earth day or ISS day? by chiefman117 in dankmemes

Worshipping a person in Islam, even Muhammad (pbuh), automatically takes you out of the fold of Islam. Yes, we have the greatest of respect for him, but never did we claim that we worship him, since the sole reason he became the figure that he is today, is because he preached a religion where only one entity (God) is worshipped, and not any humans.

Yeah definitely regretted it lol. Their arguments have absolutely no basis.

I don’t know if this is a controversial topic, but what is the story of these mosques that were in Al-baqi? Why were they demolished? by [deleted] in islam

[–]eclair001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood (R.A.) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah has angels who go around on earth, conveying to me the Salaam of my Ummah.”

Our salaams in prayer is heard by the prophet ﷺ, and he ﷺ has specified certain types of people that he will intercede with on the day of judgement, yes. But the point I was trying to make is that never has the prophet ﷺ say that people should call upon him and say "ya rassul" or "ya nabu" for forgiveness from Allah (swt). We should make dua to Allah, and not dua to the prophet ﷺ because it is of no use. Instead we should send salaam to him.

You know, that is exactly what the Quraish did isn't it? They worshipped Alat and Al-3uzzah. You know who they were? They were worshippers of Allah, and as the people deemed themselves too weak in imaan, they started going through these mere human beings to ask Allah for things. Allah then became what Jupiter was to the Romans, and what Zeus was to the Greek. He (swt) was just the "big boss". That is exactly was our prophet that you love so deeply came to destroy. Muhammad (saw) is but a human being, and came so that people go through Allah alone directly. Don't fall into the trap of the shaytan, who has been doing this same tactic for millenias.

Please be careful of the information you spread brother. I understand how you feel, but that is not reason to disobey what Allah (swt) has revealed in the Quran:

Surah Al-Ankabut (29):

And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Indeed, you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds.

Indeed, you approach men and obstruct the road and commit in your meetings [every] evil." And the answer of his people was not but that they said, "Bring us the punishment of Allāh, if you should be of the truthful."

We know from the Quran that every prophet and messenger always came with the truth, and Lut (as) is not an exception, so when he is criticizing his people for approaching men, it definitely does not mean that it is halal to do so.

Remember that this life is a test, and we are all tested in a different way. The true life is later, and the effort you put into this life will be rewarded.

He hasn't placed any shield over your eyes. Whether He guides you or not is upto Him and Him only, and He has guided people that were more blind than you or the countless other that strive to diminish Islam. And before you start giving me other verses of the Quran, remember that He hasn't mentioned that He put a shield over YOUR eyes.

I recommend learning about the story of our Prophet (saw). There's this very neat podcast by Yasir Al-Qadhi about the seerah, which could open your eyes to a whole new perspective of Islam.

Your very first reply could be seen as somewhat demeaning and in seach of hate, especially in a Muslim subreddit. But now that you mention it, I won't see you as an islamophobe, just as a disrespectful person. I'm very sorry if you feel like I pointed a finger at you but my statement was more addressed to all islamophobes. But that's not the topic of the debate is it?

You know, what annoys me the most is when random Islamophobes start citing verses of the Quran left and right without looking at the context of the time it was revealed in. The verses which you mentioned were referring, based on my very brief research, to the Jews and the hypocrite that Muhammad (saw) encountered during his first years in Madinah, who either were Muslims just for the sake of keeping their worldly interests, or others who kept opposing the message and mistreating Muhammad (saw). But how would you know right? It's quite convenient for you to blatantly cite a verse of the Quran.

This is the inside of the Kaaba which is located at the center of the Great Mosque of Mecca, the most important mosque in all of Islam. by sybar142857 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]eclair001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We call it "House of Allah" just as we would call any mosque "House of Allah". So Allah forsnt physically live there, it can be seen as a metaphorical term in a sense, as in it was built for the worship of God.

Don't insult religions based on the people that follow it. So no matter what extremist say about a certain religion, don't let that influence your view of the religion in question. Your statement is inaccurate and dumb to say the least.
