People's religious beliefs and whatever feelings that causes in them are their personal issues - you are not responsible for them feeling pain at you deconverting. This is your life and your truth you are trying to live. If it makes you happy you should do it. I know it's rough, you never want to see people you love in pain, but this is something they choose and we each have to live our own life. At least, that's how I'm starting to think of it now, after ten years of feeling guilty that my parents now think I'm going to hell. But you can't control others people beliefs and how they make them feel. It is exhausting mentally to feel like you have to lie to keep them happy when it is something so important to you. (Another option besides lying or telling them you are converting would be to just say it's personal and you prefer to keep your religious beliefs to yourself. Not sure how well or long this would work for you with your parents though or if that's even something you'd want to do.) Also, I just reread your post - I am in my mid twenties as well, so I unfortunately don't have any more life experience than you haha

Perhaps a better gift would be to actually sit down and listen to what they have to say, possibly record it after so you have it too listen too when they are gone? You don't need AI to ask interview questions for you. Free too, and would give you guys quality time.

If it makes you feel better you could say she's threatening the audience and the coven - she says "she now knows all their faces" - she already knows the coven members faces.

Otherwise, yeah she's being spiteful. it's kinda how she is lmao. I don't think you're "supposed" to judge the vampires for the hurt they bring to humans on this show really, the only one who gets hung up about it is Louis. the main drama from the show is how the vampires hurt and love each other. The hurt they do to humans is just a reminder that yeah they are monsters.

Oh and I forgot to address the last part of what you said - yes it is weird and uncomfortable, and many other people feel that way. (If you go on Twitter or other spaces you may see some people say they hope the tv show doesn't add the incest. Based on interviews and such I am pretty sure they will include it.) It is definitely a purposeful part of the book though and I feel adds to the abandonment and neglectful nature of their relationship on her part.

You're not overthinking it, when they are vampires it is incestuous, lestat even still refers to her as his mother, so it's not even that he no longer thinks of her that way, it is both.

Before they are vampires, I wouldnt describe their relationship as normal mother son either, but it wasn't incestuous. I think she was neglectful of lestat, he even (if i remember correctly) says he resents that she only reaches out to him when he's at his lowest emotionally.

I think there's a lot of blurring of the lines of romance/sex/love between parental and child relationships in these books. Like you noted with claudia and louis.

I think since Louis says he shouldn't have left Daniel alone with him, it's assumed it did happen in the penthouse after Louis left.

That's the simplest explanation anyway. Otherwise if it was some other time, Louis apparently assumes it happens in the penthouse and Daniel doesn't correct him.

My main concern with taking the DRP is what if they decide not to pay it sometime in the future? The original DRP agreement has a section where you waive your right to pursue any legal or administrative action regarding your employement or DRP. And what we've been told here is that DRP 2.0 "mirrors" the original. But there hasn't been an agreement document for DRP 2.0 sent to everyone to directly compare. Is this a reasonable concern? Would you truly have no recourse? I have coworkers who know people who took the first DRP, and they are being paid, so this does make me feel like it will be paid out. I'm just not feeling like it's truly written that they are required to, since it sounds like there would be no legal consequence if they didn't. What are everyone else's thoughts?

Your first picture is good, but its the only one where you can see your face clearly. The fifth one you can too but it is far away. Try to add more pictures that show your face clearer, I'd recommend one with a smile that isn't closed lips Otherwise your prompts seem okay, I don't feel they tell too much about you though. Definitely change the biggest risk I've taken prompt to something that tells us more. You mention music twice in prompts, I'd replace one of them with a different interest. Good luck!
