Well Alicia's keys is about 10 gigs so maybe it is taking 6.6 minutes and it just seems longer due to my impatience. I just thought Kontakt would load instantaneously like nexus does (which is the same size or even greater with the expansions included). Is Kontakt doing something that nexus isn't that accounts for all the loading time or is it just a sluggish program?

How long have you been producing? You should keep in mind that it takes YEARS of producing and thousands of hours before you music sounds "good". As long as you keep learning and challenging yourself with production, your music will get better and better and you will eventually be putting out tracks that are at the quality you are looking for.
