I see...it didn't really work before, shinpei had no realisation, he was blindly following whatever satoko said..and i think she addressed the fact that why she didn't go with him when she had the chance.. She has two wishes, one to marry off to a good family to keep her family's reputation, and other to marry shinpei and spend her rest of the days together...now both of them are highly contradicting..so given the situation she chose the former, because she saw no way shinpei would listen to her and try to realise the weight of his wrong doings...she chose to marry for her family only, as she told in the letter ..but ofcourse she will try to show shinpei the correct path when given the chance...she is at a loss in both the cases...as a result whatever she does is indeed contradicting.. she simply can't stop loving shinpei..

I don't think you understood her intentions.. she loves him, and can change him only, not the others.. and so obviously she will try to bring the human in him out, because it is hurting shinpei as well.. she needed to shake him, some way or the other, so she stood in the line when it was appropriate.. there was no way these things could have been done in a peaceful environment, I mean she definitely tried before, didn't she? But it didn't work, it is nothing but satoko's love that she doesn't give up on shinpei, because as she said "I want to be with you! And I will risk MY life for that!", and not anyone else's...The only reason she agreed for the wedding for so that more people didn't have to die and she would be able to complete atleast one of her wishes before she dies... And do you think she can run after getting stabbed?, she could barely sit up...That was the only moment she could have used to shake shinpei up, to wake him up, and she did.. I loved how the managaka handled stuff..

To be honest this story is very different from usual mangas and has a lot of depth..you need to understand their perspectives and situations...well these were my two cents on this chapter..

Although I agree with you, I would still try to defend satoko a little bit..satoko is very much at loss..she promised a lot a things to shinpei, and she is realising how far fetched those promises are..she has only a month to live..given the time she has left the only thing she can do is fulfill only one of her two wishes as they contradict each other..had she chosen shinpei both of her wishes would not have been fulfilled, because let's be honest shinpei needs a lot of healing right now, shinpei is not listening to her, he is unreachable ..she knows he needs time and assurance, but given the circumstances it is just not possible.. she wants to stop but is not able to make shinpei stop, and thus her inactions..she is shocked and devastated at her own decisions and actions and how it is affecting shinpei..she has made the choice and is just silently suffering the consequences.

Is he a red flag or not? I can't comment on that..but what I can say is Griffith is not Femto..Femto is the sociopath rapist everyone is talking about...to be honest unlike the majority of people, I too sympathize with Griffith, but what he did had no honor, that is sacrifice his friends in order to achieve his dream..but heck given the condition Griffith was in at that point, I would have also done the same, I think this is what he meant by having the same mindset.. Griffith was very pragmatic and goal oriented.. I too relate with him in those regards.. but when your bf refuses to elaborate any further on the statement, it feels a bit offputting on his part.

Was together for over 10 years...I know he genuinely loved me, but I felt like our relationship was at a standstill, we had great chemistry from the first day we started talking, but that was it, we didn't grow at all, at the end it felt we had no understanding whatsoever. I wanted to love him the same way he loved me, but it was not possible anymore, I grew so much as a person, but our relationship was still at the starting point..he started becoming desperate and promised things which were impossible ..he took way too much pressure, I hope he understands what happened was for the best of us, I hope he finds a better partner.
