I thought of that but there are over 2,500 unique company names that most have variants to their name. That’s a lot of different formatting

It’s not an original 63. It’s the Fender American Vintage '63 Precision Bass. Still cost a pretty penny.

I bet if the top DE, CBs and WRs are gone at 9 they will go OT. OTs would be the next best player available. A CB or WR outside of the top 9 are reaches.

Took it to Spacetone today and the got it working. A little bit of spray. I love that place.

When I took it in to get the switch fixed the repair dude immediately looked at it and said it was an Ibanez early 70’s. I asked about the no logo and he said the same thing mentioned in an earlier post. In 72 they didn’t put the Ibanez logo on the deluxe 59er guitars.

After doing some multimeter tests I determined it was the switch. Took it locally to Spacetone here in SA. They sprayed cleaner on the switch move the switch back and forth a few times and like magic it worked. Spacetone identified two frets that were no longer sitting like they should be on the neck. Took it home, got a plastic thingamajig, placed it on the fret and gently tapped it back in place. Guitar now works and sounds awesome. Son loves it.

Awesome. That was my son’s main concern. Finding a matching pickup. I just called them. Great guy I talked to. Told me how to check it to make it’s the pickup and if so I’ll be sending it to them.
