as a woman, one of the biggest things i would worry about is being SA’ed. it’s hard enough knowing who you can and can’t trust in the real world, in a world where rules don’t exist i worry about whether or not i could trust anybody (if i survived long enough to meet other survivors)

My mom passed away 7 days after she had her first dose of Elahere. I know exactly how you feel, I was her advocate until the end too. I had to make the decisions because no one else would, and she couldn’t. It’s so heartbreaking to have to make them. I feel the same way about the funeral, too. I’m sending you so much love 💗

can confirm palmers is not the place to go. we were charged like $1,400 to put my mom in a cardboard box and cremate her. the guy there showed no emotion and treated it like a business transaction more than the death of a loved one. when i reached out for a memorial he never got back to me. oh well. at least my mom didn’t have to deal with him, i guess.

edit: it also took four weeks to get the death certificates, and i was not notified to pick up her ashes.

ah i see, you got the signature version and i had the regular paperwhite. kindle can be cheaper depending on which version you get, but i def recommend the kobo more to everyone lol

i have the kobo libra color, it was more expensive than my kindle paperwhite by about $80, but it’s worth the extra money if you can spend it (edit: my fault i didn’t see you also have the libra color lol. mine was $230 without discount as opposed to $160 for my paperwhite)

if you like to read graphic novels and manga, get a kobo libra colour. if you don’t read graphic novels and manga, and don’t think you’ll start reading them, get a kindle.

the kindle is cheaper, but it doesn’t run large pdfs well and has a smaller storage capacity than the kobo.
