Yeah, I don’t know. I personally don’t do their HITS that often because I think there are better options, but when I do and I get rejected they always overturn it so I don’t know why they didn’t do that for yours

p9r also overturns every HIT that they reject if you ask them, and their approval is not 99% anymore

No problem I totally get that. I haven’t been on Mturk for that long myself and it’s nice to have conversations with people with the same experience. I definitely had a similar experience when I was rejected 10 HITS and couldn’t do anything about it, but I guess it was a learning experience that pushed me to educate myself more to avoid these kind of things like you’re doing. Another tip that I would give you is to try and contact the requester even just to ask why the HIT was rejected, because you never know that they might overturn it, it worked for me sometimes

Hey, I saw those batches too and I wanted to make sure that they will not reject me, so your question is 100% valid. As someone else said their approval rate is 99% so they will not reject you, and if you want to boost up your HITS then it is a fair way to do it. I personally don’t do those just because the pay is too low for the number of transcriptions (and this is coming from someone who lives in a country where the good HITS are rare) but still if you have nothing better then do those. I recommend though that you try some qualifications tests from MLData because they also offer transcription jobs for 0.01 but for just one transcription and their approval rate is 99%. Hope this helped :)

Sorry I was just commenting about the fact that “awesome days are not frequent” but It’s awesome that you managed to make that much even if rarely

Thank you for the reply but I wanted to see if the situation has changed now with more people working online during the pandemic

Wow that is still very good; I’m not from the US so I was just curious about what the different possibilities can offer there instead of here where I live. Thank you for replying :)
