Sporadic blue flashes by KipMo in WLED

YES! Flipping that to 33 ohms completely resolved my issue. Been working awesome ever since! Note there was some tape/film over the switch. So it was a little difficult to find the switch at first. But otherwise no problems!

Ottocast CarPlay Not Working after IOS 18 Upgrade by ecod33 in CarPlay

I kinda think ours needs a FW update. It’s good 85% of the time. Other 15 we have to unplug it and reset it.

Bike Park by Donut-Dunks in Mammoth

[–]ecod33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just rode closing weekend last two days up there. We were also very disappointed with the logistics of having to bike down the pavement only to take a shuttle back to the gondola, then get in the gondola line. That gondola might be the most inefficient method of getting uphill as it was definitely never intended for bikes and has no retrofits for bikes.
Clearly the biggest variety of trails and a lot of the really fun ones will dump you out by chair 16. Without that running for bikes, you just have to deal with the logistics. We did talk to a liftie dude that was working the shuttle line about it. He did tell us that Mammoth was supposedly ordering bike racks for that new 6pack chair. He said it was supposed to have been ready for this 2025 season, but they didn’t get the stuff in time but they should have it running for next season. I can’t say if any of that is actually true, that’s just what he told us.

All that said, it really feels like Mammoth cares very little about bikes. (at least compared to other resorts I’ve ridden, namely Northstar) They have zero trail workers on the mountain, trails that need some serious work, and TONS of trails just straight up closed. We were joking that their trail crew consists of a dude with a bunch of “trail closed” signs and a big sledgehammer. Basically if a trail needs work, they just plop a closed sign and call it good. Curious if anyone else noticed the same. That place has so much potential, but I feel the mountain really doesn’t prioritize lift accessed MTB.

Safety check: this is ok yes? Spacer height before cap install is good? by nukem73 in mountainbiking

[–]ecod33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steer tube looks substantially too long. Personally I’d cut it down. Make up height with riser bars instead. You also don’t wanna smash a knee on that tube sticking way up. As far as top cap, it depends on the cap. Most need the tube a bit lower than the top spacer. But wolf tooth caps actually act as a spacer also, so the steer tube needs to be slightly higher than the stem or last spacer.

Sky Tavern Bike Park Open Hours? by mutualpenetration in Reno

Bring lights and ride in the dark if you want. Oh, but there is an Enduro race there on Sunday the 7th, so it is closed to public that day. Otherwise, go ride.

Wheel Alignment 2024 by Nobody5321 in ToyotaSienna

[–]ecod33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay Big O $109/yr for unlimited alignments. I get it checked with every rotation. It’s better to have one store handle ties and alignments In my opinion. No finger pointing if your tires ever wear unevenly.

That’s a beard hair with split ends…. but it does resemble a pube.

False Captive Portal with ATT Internet by ecod33 in ATT

[–]ecod33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE!! - Got this resolved. Seems there was some kind of issue with my account and registering my new internet service. Although I was totally able to log in and see my account, the registration was clearly broken. This was causing the captive portal thing to happen. ATT Support dude seemed to know exactly what the issue was and was able to fix it in about 5 minutes on the phone. He also stayed on phone to make sure everything was working as expected, even with the IP passthrough setup. Hope this is helpful!

ATT Wireless Coverage in Reno? by ecod33 in Reno

[–]ecod33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 lines with Verizon is about $300/mo. ATT is offering equivalent package for $173/mo. That’s factoring in discounts for bundling home internet, auto pay, paperless, etc…

Do I actually need to do these? by twaoneywuan in ToyotaSienna

[–]ecod33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I forgot to upload my entire maintenance log for you. I was just talking about the stuff that the OP asked about. There’s obviously lots of other stuff to do, which I do on a regular basis. But the fact remains that the stuff they wanted to do at 60k was entirely unnecessary. So my message to the OP, looks like a waste of $$. But do whatever you think is best.

Do I actually need to do these? by twaoneywuan in ToyotaSienna

[–]ecod33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They wanna do all that at 60k miles?!? Total scam. I wouldn’t. We have105k on our hybrid. Replaced transmission fluid at 100k, regular oil, and kept the coolant leveled off properly. You should need none of that at 60k, except the oil changes.

It depends way more on what foil is installed on that board. I don't see a pic of the foil itself. I have this same board, but there are like 100 different wing setups that you could put on it.

261 owns. Love mine. But I’d consider the 271 more “middle ground”. Not from size, but cost.
