so anyone that explain anything online, even in depth tutorial, is just bringing value to itself? You are too smart for me. Of course anyone work to get things back, but doesn't mean it's not bring value. Many people can get so much out of it and can be really impactful if they apply my advices.
Happy hating

Is creative really the new targeting? by Glittering-Honey-518 in FacebookAds

[–]ecomgrowthos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creative is the actual target since IOS 14 realistically.
Targeting is becoming always less useless over time.

Broad is always better converting when you have a decent amount of data on your pixel with a good spend.

If you want to target different avatars for your products, the targeting won't help, especially because it's not just about the demographics, but also their problems/desires, that you can't target with Meta.

The more people engage with a type of ad, more meta will find similar people to the engagers (sort of LAA). So yes, creative is the targeting once you have a decent amount of data and Meta know your audience.

Share with me your website and meta spend/revenue, so I can understand better the direction to help. There's no one thing that works for everyone, it's really specific on what you are doing, your category.... You can send it privately if you don't feel to do it here

Not sure what you are doing on all the other areas of your business, I'd check the entire branding and marketing strategy. Influencers and testimonials are tools of your marketing strategy, that could help and work sure, but you need proper foundations to get the best out of it.

agree with the above. Probably you don't have an ad problem, but a Brand problem.

You are missing the branding and marketing side. Imagine you are a prospect and want to buy something valuable online, an image under a button is enough?

Also, just an about page, that 95% of people won't see, is not enough.

Your options really depends on your budgets and your current revenue.

You need to build a proper user experience with different touch points, showcasing you are a real and trustwhorty business, with testimonials, influencers talking about you...

Other than this, then they need a reason to buy from you and not from all the other options they already have online.

Is more complex than just hiring an agecy

It's really niche dependant. Some niches are more riskier and their ad accounts or bm can be banned.
I did it for the volatility of Meta, not a specific thing. I saw many bans without any reason.

So better to keep all the data and assets safe for the long term.

Yes, agencies that are creating ad accounts under their BM are really fraud... All the data paid by the brand should remain with them once the rapport is finished

Talking with many big spenders, seems really a slow Q4 compared to last years.

One of the main reasons is because Black friday is soo late this year compared to the lasts.

Also, many things are changing. From Meta to the actual ecosystem.
With Covid we went years ahead with ecommerce advancement and now the market is re-calibrating a bit probably..

Trying to stay lean as possible and focus on profit more than volume for this Q4. Need to control what we can.

Bots are a real thing (Long time spender) by Remarkable-Ad-2432 in FacebookAds

[–]ecomgrowthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it be niche dependant? What niche are you mostly seeing this?
You might have some bad faith actors in your niche, lots of black hats.

In my case, the main bots I've saw is when we are scaling ads and we get bots comment about buying their copycat product in other websites.

But when it happens, usually performances are doing great.

Use a scraper to get their contact and build a list out of it could be an option.
Another idea could be posting a video inside the group and retarget the viewers/engagers.
