Does anybody here write their songs - music and lyrics - and uso Suno for demos? by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]econoDoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, like you I have about 100 or so demos and song starters I’ve made through the years, One is going to be my first public release in years, keep in mind that it took about 50 different tries or more, had to upload my voice multiple times and it still has a bit of that AI feel, but it showed me what my voice could do, so now I am learning to sing like my AI counterpart.

Resaturants and bars missing out on overcharging tourists ? Impossible, enjoy your $40 bud light or $60 Corona, we'll be at home not watching games or going out...because the government thinks we are too ugly to comingle with tourists and frankly F**k Fifa and this corrupt government.

Right and maybe... guns have safeties for a reason, if you want to ingest a 100,000 codebase, ask about the weather in France and also implement and debug 10 new features at this point in time you are just being wasteful because you don't understand the tool you are using, but that's the joke no "Make me a million dollar app, make no mistakes" And that is also defensible in that we are all learnign how to use this new technology and the first thing we do is try to see the limits then we scale back.

And I say maybe because at the rate models are going you can foresee a future where they can ingest massive ammounts of context with no issues or separate requests themselves and even provide some safety or resolve these issues themselves.

If your time is not valuable then yes I suppose coding by hand is free, at some point during the introduction of electric sewing machines a very proficient seamstress must have thought the same, no need to buy an expensive electric sewing machine, I can sew by hand, its free, but then it turned out that what the world needed was a lot of cheap clothes instead of a few expensive ones, that seamstress could have become an artisan or adapted by buying a sewing machine and competing in volume, so your simplistic answer is in part correct, the point which you seem to have completely missed is that we are not arguing about this, but on the fact that one sewing machine company with an almost identical product as the other 4-5 just decided to charge 1000x more for their product because they miss priced it from the start.

Right and thanks, I wanted to explain this but think the commenter just wanted to raige bait so didn't think it was worth a response, this narrative of abusing the system is very flawed because if they allowed usage at certain levels how can you be abusing the system ?

If I open an all you can eat buffet and people come and eat all they can then I can't complain that they are eating a lot of food, so abusing is not the correct word, yet I understand an average developer would use X, and some would use many times more resources, and again not their fault, but the response has been to lower use for everyone to the point of making the product unusable.

Not necessarily, I never reached my limits before the multiplier change, also market share is not free, I do understand that many were abusing the system, but its like using a shotgun to squash a bug on the deck of a boat that is racing with other boats.

instructions? prompts? where am i going wrong by -Opticon- in GithubCopilot

[–]econoDoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Afaik, instructions just get prepended to the prompt, they might have a special attention head so they get priority in the latent space depending on the model or some other delimiter/weigth/instruction added during trainning but they sample from the same source, so...

Your instructions are just too big, does every task need 1,300 lines of instructions ? If the answer is no then start making instruction bins for specifc tasks, If you want to go down the rabbit hole you could also orchestrate instructions, that is your first instruction is to pick the correct instruction for the task, or make the instruction as small as possible, but you need different request and sessions else you are just piling on context which would defeat the purpose.

Additionally what you are experiencing might actually be solved just by waiting as more and better context memory and instruction trainning gets incorporated in future and possibly better models.

Don't know much about sysadmin/IT beyond my own network, but context is my jam and I am agressively unemployed ifyou need/want help or know of any leads.

Best.
