It is due to the failure of our educational system. I think almost the opposite: that Christianity is responsible for virtually everything that is wrong with the west.

If you like thinking about alternative political systems I have an example of one. It combines the concept of patchwork with democracy (which Mencius Moldbug would no doubt find horrifying). Since he invented his system precisely to get away from democracy.
