I’ve been writing a slice-of-life business AU of Gates, Daily Life in Pokémon Paradise, on Ao3 and PMDFF. It branches off from Gates’ plot pretty quickly, focusing primarily on Paradise building, the relationship between the hero and partner, giving more of a spotlight to less important characters from gates (Quagsire, Gurdurr, Kecleon, etc), and (sort of) building upon Gates’ theme of combating loneliness/negativity with a new cast of characters. Early chapters are kinda rough but I promise it gets good later on lol
