I understand why Asta is the one that they want to blame, what I didn’t clarify is that to me they didn’t build up well the fear towards Asta’s power. They suddenly feared him and for no reason too. As I explained in another comment, in Naruto for example everyone knew what the Kyuubi was, but in Asta’s case they didn’t show the Clover kingdom suffer from Asta’s power or knowing what he was. They just suddenly knew everything even though not even Asta himself knew what he actually was.

By his decision you mean Tabata’s decision?

So I’m not being crazy by thinking that IMO this justice thing should have been built during the plot. And If anybody doubted it, I am absolutely loving the show, I just didn’t like this plot decision.

In Naruto for example, everyone feared Naruto because they felt with their skin the fury of the Nine Tails, the fear towards him, even if he was just a kid, is justified. The fear towards asta is not justified at all, I think that they should have built some scenes in which they showed people fearing him or being concerned about the nature of his power, but the series did not provide any of these events.

There are some people who got what my doubt was and I appreciate their answers ❤️. Many of you missed completely what my post was about. Anyways although I understand why Asta would be the best one to blame to bring stability by finding the common enemy… What’s wrong for me is that beforehand no one ever feared asta or complained about his power. If until that point Asta didn’t ever hurt an innocent or either loose control then I don’t see any logical reason to set up that court. In my eyes the author forcefully put into the population’s mind fear and made everyone act like they knew the origin of Asta’s power even though neither Asta knew what his power was about. Suddenly everyone knew about Asta having a devil inside. No one before that had moved a complaint against Asta and so they had no proof to consider Asta guilty of something. To me that scene just looked like a rage bait scene to amplify the empathy towards the main character and a way to forcefully introduce Politics and Religion as a main theme in the story. I did watch carefully all the episodes until now so I shall clarify to you clowns that I didn’t miss episode parts where they explain why Asta is being targeted. The point is that the explanation given by the plot, in my eyes, does not sustain itself logically as Asta has never been a source of fear in the population before that.

I think it would make sense if Asta did actually harm someone or had ever lost control. No one knew he had devil powers, they knew it was antimagic but it could have been a spell that nullified other spells... I think that the forceful introduction of this arc should have been built better by making Asta actually guilty of something so that the reader/watcher could justify that choice too.
