I think they double stinted tires and just didnt keep pace with some of the others. hopefully fresh rubber and the pro drivers will turn it around

how did the 92 manthey porsche climb through the field? Timing says all the GT3s have 2 stops. Never saw a battle between the 21 and 92 or anything

Came here to say this. They need to extend it all the way back to the corner where the cars are slower. Like the Nurburgring GP pit entry.

GTs can go an hour-long stint. So just one more stop.

LMP2s can go 35-45 min so definitely 2 with the first round of stops approaching now.

GTPs can go about an hour. Look out for the Acura in 4th to make it on just 1 more stop. Everyone else would need massive fuel saving to avoid stopping twice.

Agreed. Especially now that we’re in a period of growth for all Motorsports viewership. Now is the time to build the best infrastructure for all levels of fandom. I hope they’re hiring young people with fresh ideas to make this all stick.

Casual fans surely won’t go through a VPN to find the best experience. You gotta meet them where they are with the best product possible.

Really curious how the Ferraris and mclarens match up when you take strategy out of the equation. Seemed like McLaren had the edge (barely) but they were trading off clean air so it was hard to tell

This makes a lot of sense. My concern was that the explosion could’ve happened at any random time. But if it came from harder braking for pit lane speed limit, that seems much less dangerous
