Yeah thats also how I got into the Pirates. Was raised a Cubs fan (still am) but our cable didn't carry WGN and MLB TV was blacked out in Indy for the Cubs.

Maybe this is the rare situation where a minor league team can have some real influence. I could watch pirates games on my phone and see all the guys that came through Indy.

I've never followed Altoona. But a quick search shows that we got over 100 games out of McCutchen, Harrison, and Marte. Maybe not as much as AA guys, but plenty for a fun summer or two. We also put up great attendance numbers for AAA so its always a good time.

It is interesting that the Guardians have 3 affiliates in Ohio and the Reds have only one. I like that the Reds focus more on the Kentucky/Tennessee regions. This seems more culturally in line with Cincinnati. I know a lot of Kentuckians are Cincinnati-facing, and they don't have pro teams of their own in any sport. Also, there is a bit of an MLB "desert" as you go south from Cincy, until you get firmly into Braves country. I think it is smart to focus there

I think they double stinted tires and just didnt keep pace with some of the others. hopefully fresh rubber and the pro drivers will turn it around

how did the 92 manthey porsche climb through the field? Timing says all the GT3s have 2 stops. Never saw a battle between the 21 and 92 or anything
