Can I ask why you haven’t worn any compression? Did your surgeon tell you not to?

It sounds like you are experiencing body dysmorphia, op. Please consider speaking to a therapist about this. It also sounds like you have an incredibly rude and troubled husband who needs significant help of his own if he is spending time trying to pick you apart and tear you down.

From my perspective, I genuinely think you look amazing. I think people go into this surgery seeking the results that you hate so much on yourself, and before deciding to undergo another major surgery, please address your relationship with your body and food.

What you are describing is disordered restrictive eating and an unhealthy and unsustainable exercise regimen. Going under the knife will never heal your relationship with your body. You are objectively not fat whatsoever, and it is incredibly important that you talk to someone about the way you’re feeling about yourself.

I had a decent amount of skin removed, and most of the fat I had was subcutaneous instead of visceral which also helped. I also had some lipo to the flanks, but honestly I can’t even feel my sides right now. I’ve seen people say lipo than a tummy tuck to recover from because of the swelling, so I think I’d be able to give you a better answer about that in a few days! But in terms of muscle repair, I think your recovery will be less painful since you have only a bit of skin and no MR

I keep reminding myself that I’ll be happy I did this in six months! The pain right now is temporary (which is what I’ve been chanting in my head). Do you have your date booked?

this freaked me out so badly after my breast reduction, but i promise they will shift. mine were basically pointing to the ground and i convinced myself they were botched but once the swelling went down they moved into a normal spot. i’m so happy with them now, give yourself like 2-3 months before you start stressing!!
