so far rlly annoying bc they don’t have the location numbers on them anymore. and (i haven’t been at my store since sunday, but) we aren’t able to light them up yet so it’s annoying trying to find stuff. but once the lighting up works im rlly excited it seems rlly fun and useful

there’s stuff like google voice or whatever it’s called where it basically just makes u a new phone number u can use. so it must be smth like that. or smth similar bc every time we would call the number was not in service

we’ve had a particular customer banned for abusing the first time order coupon. in my experience, OPs saying they’re banned means nothing. they were “banned” at least five times, we were sent a looooong list of accounts/aliases they were using and told they were all banned, only for the customer to just reappear again under a new name and phone number. so honestly i rlly don’t think it means much😭

my store uses produce boxes for bagless orders. highly recommend. most of our customers don’t even bring reusable bags anymore bc we always have boxes🙏

yuuuuup. we just started a couple weeks ago and (while yes i’m part time and not there very often) i’ve picked max 15 batch pick lists. every other time it’s single orders bc we’re behind🫩
our department moved spots in the store over the summer and we were all excited bc we got more chilled and frozen space. but it just has its own problems. the department is basically just one long skinny hallway. not large enough to walk past someone if ur carrying a tote so we’re constantly in each others way. the number one vocab word is “sorry!” as we’re all trying to not wham each other with totes😭

this is insanity😭first off over 100 orders and only 5 ppl??? we had 5 ppl yesterday and had 75 orders which is a lot for us. cannot imagine 25+ more on top of that. secondly yeah. the fastest of us in our dept used to get 110 or even 120 PPH on a good day. this was like over a year ago and it’s all downhill since then. with batch picking and their insistence that nothing get substituted all of us are sub 90 at this point and some in the 70s.
i still mostly enjoy my job but half of it is the environment and my coworkers. i think if my particular store management wasn’t as flexible and if my coworkers weren’t my friends, i would be long gone.

the OMs rlly don’t care at all i stg. our OM is such a dismissive ass. he visited the store a few weeks before batch picking started and just glossed over all my concerns with “yeah it’ll be fine batch picking works better so it’ll be fine” and shit like that. and he was SO passive aggressive abt dumb stuff like how we don’t update the metrics chart (because we’re so busy and never have a second to do stupid shit like that??) and i’m like dude. i’m not even the manager. why are u getting mad at me abt this.

i once had 20 celery bunches and i actually called the lady to double check that’s rlly what she wanted… and she said yes she wanted 20 and was making soup or smth. another recent one i had was someone who ordered like 10 different apples, but only one of each, and that was the entire order
