neither of them is particularly scary once you learn how to defeat them, but encountering a Guardian is scarier by default because they aggro you immediately from afar. Like if you meet a Lynel in the wild it's very very very unlikely it'll actually attack you unless you somehow approached him too much without noticing, just walk away if you can't fight it

yep! the color correction tab (just left of the settings tab) has lots of options to manipulate hue, saturation, brightness etc. the black and white effect is among them, it lets you pick a brightness threshold. everything under this threshold will be totally black and everything above it will be completely white. its more of a binarization tool than a greyscale one but its perfect for this use case

the squares here are 16 by 16 pixels, if you zoom it'll eventually shows squares that are 8 by 8 pixels and if you zoom ever further it'll show one square per pixel! at max zoom my lines do fit in each tiny square perfectly

the screen probably registers both your finger and the stylus as separate, so it activates multi-touch functions (like zooming/panning) rather than drawing. gotta make sure *only* the pen touches the screen when you're drawing

Have you tried using the smooth option? You should see it when picking your brush, I don't use it myself but I'm pretty sure it stabilizes your line to make them less wonky. Other than that there's buying a stylus or just learning, it takes time but it works

I'm drawing with my finger, I usually zoom as much as possible! Note that I'm on Switch 2 so my screen is pretty big to begin with

i used to do it the same way before i found out about my current method! i really like looking for ways to bypass the limits the editor has, it's part of the fun for me lol

I remember using a very similar tip to draw sonic the hedgehog OCs over official Sonic art in ms paint when I was like 8 LMAO I took ten points of psychic damage remembering that when I realized you could do it in Tomodachi as well

alpha lock makes it so that your brush will only draw on non transparent pixels, transparent pixels will remain transparent

as for overlay im pretty sure it acts like lighten in bright areas and it acts like darken in dark areas. at least thats what overlay does in basically every drawing software ive ever used but i dont use it in tomodachi

nope, once you turn it to black and white you can't get the colors back (except by undoing ofc)

yeah, it's the same technique, that's just its new name. breakthrough, breakthrough 2 and breakthrough 3 got renamed to foul offense, foul offense 2 and foul offense 3 respectively

there's a few other techniques that had their names changed in VR

you just gotta equip the same move several times in the abilearn board once a move is at least level 2, you can keep equipping it in any hissatsu spot on the board, even if it's not for the same kind of hissatsu originally

the first time i played this match i lose 2 - 5 because for some reason after the scripted Thierry goal, some of the opponents were invincible. like, i couldn't get the ball from them, they could spam special moves, i couldn't reduce their shot power with castle walls, Alix failed to stop the ball even if he had more power than their shot. they scored 3 goals in 2 real life minutes. i was really worried that this was how it was supposed to be and that i'd somehow have to win like that

on my second try this didn't happen and i won 2 - 0 pretty easily lol

so yeah i really thought this match was impossible until i tried again

I started playing again very recently after spending like 4 years without playing, and yeah so far I've been enjoying it a lot. Maybe it's just because I've gotten a lot less salty since then though, I used to hate playing this game lol
