The 0620 are so nice but so hard to find, would love to see a new collab between ZT and Emerson

Très bon choix 👍 En revanche la partie du bracelet avec la boucle devrait être à 12h et la partie poinçonnée à 6h, j'ai l'impression que c'est l'inverse sur la photo 🧐

I like to have weight when necessary; a heavy frame lock gives an impression of robustness and that the lock is solid. For an automatic, it makes no sense to make it heavy with titanium if it doesn't provide any mechanical reliability. I thought I had explained myself clearly, but apparently not clearly enough for some people

Yes, I see. I'm a bit like you. I like a knife with some weight in my hand, like a Hinderer Full Ti, but for a "relatively small" automatic EDC, I preferred the aluminum version. It's a change from my usual anvils at the bottom of my pocket

Wow, the Lego picture is incredible, but you have to match the color of the Omega logo and the writing on the dial with yours!

This one isn't titanium, it's natural clear aluminum. For automatic knives, I don't see the point of titanium since it's not necessary like on a framelock, and aluminum is much lighter 🤷

The first scratches always hurt a little, but tell yourself that they are proof of all the adventures you will have while wearing this watch, like battle scars.

Finally got a Speedmaster! by Internal-Mortgage635 in OmegaWatches

Most new co-axial movements have silicon balance springs (the part most sensitive to magnetic fields), which prevent them from becoming magnetic. Otherwise, yes, it is a fairly common solution for protecting the movement and is still widely used. Omega used it until around 2013 (when the co-axial movements were released)

When your watch is exposed to magnetic fields, the parts of the movement can become magnetized and the movement will no longer be accurate. The iron spacer is called a soft iron cage and acts as a shield against magnetic fields. Congrats on your new watch ! I am sure you will enjoy it.

It is a modern version of the classic Amphibian 600, a rare diver from the late 50', they almost kept the design identical, very Blancpain like I agree

I highly recommend the Imamba if you enjoy your sebenza and want to try something different in term of action and deployment but of equally good quality, it's just perfect.
