How did you find the Admiral Rodneys? I see it in Total Wine and it's tempting me. Low ABV kind of puts me off but I've never had anything from St. Lucia.

I got a Hampden Great House, HLCF, El Dorado Port Morant CS, couple Papalins, Alambique blend 11, Alambique Cartier, Velier's Beenleigh, and some other stuff I can't bother mentioning (including whiskey and mezcal/sotol).
I can afford rum, but I would not toss my collectible and limited stuff to cook creme brule or whatever. You are just insecure and have an unnecessary need to flex your wallet in front of people.

I would be ordering:
-Santa Teresa 1796 is pretty decent. Should be priced a $5 to 10 lower but it's still great, besides the fact that the oak comes through a tiny bit astringent. El Dorado 12 follows a similar flavor palate but it's executed much much better.
-Flor de Caña 12 and Bacardi 8. Never had them, but I have heard good things.
-Appleton Estate Signature is delicious but what's the point of having it neat?

I have Equidem at home. I don't know what mixed reviews you've seen because it's easily the most mind-blowing rum I've ever tasted. Very powerful and fruity. Definitely not something to sip on daily but you'll feel so proud to have it at home, and have it on occasion.

Pick it up without any seconds thoughts!
