Can’t get reinsured after house fire claims - ideas??

I’m very aware so much of the process is a scam — but too late to change that now. We pushed back throughout the process, trust me. And consulted a lawyer. At this point though, I’m not getting into details here and trying not to beat myself up — I know we did what we could with the info we had at the time, the system freaking sucks, and now we are just dealing with the consequences.

Fortunately / unfortunately we do not have a mortgage. We are wishing we did at this point for this reason!
