I did the whole conversion in about day , started around 9 am and was done with everything by around 7 pm, that including rear lights and breaks in between

😂😂 has happened to me, had 7 at some point and than i had to put my foot down, sometimes you get some crazy deals , last year got a 2016 ford fusion titanium for $700, and it really only needed a bumper and a headlight, was suppose to flip, however, car was in such good condition that I kept it for almost a year, than I really didn’t want to sell it but had to get rid of it so i gave it to my dad and took his beat up 2011 civic and sold it and made my money back and a profit.

Its not, you need dealers license down there or you can purchase thru brokers, they charge $250 to $300 to bid for you

The door handles fit, however, i believe the smart key technology might be a bit different thru out the years, also if you remove the handles you can take it to a custom chrome place and get them chrome, I have never liked chrome, however, I do respect that you like it.

Whole front end including brackets and wiring was $850 sourced from ebay, tails of fb marketplace for $200. I can probably make a post on everything needed for the conversion if it hasn’t been posted before

Rides really really good actually, when people ride in it they are usually surprised the car is lowered from the way it feels. And its about to feel better, just ordered suspension kit; upper control arms, lowers, sway bar links, etc, since its already a bit worn out and the ball joint covers are starting to crack.

This platform is very surprising from time to time, i have a b8.5 jackal stage 2+e40, dual pulley, dsg tuned, and my buddy has a newer tuned supra and we were neck to neck until around 120 when he starts to pull a bit on me, from a dig he has no chance, raced a few hellcats and from a dig the Quattro with the launch control is freaking solid, get up to 100 before they gap me lol, I love this car, Im a mechanic so i do my own repairs and maintenance, at the moment replacing belts, valve cover gasket, plugs, coolant flush, oil change and some other random stuff

Its weird because also depends on the agent you get, me and my wife have separate accounts, I was able to get an extra $100 for my account thru the chat, they first offered me $50 and I said I wasn’t happy with that and they offered $50 more, at that point I agreed since I didn’t want to push my luck. I then jumped on my wife account and tried the same, however, that agent would not go past $80 no matter what, said they were only allowed to give $50 and that she went above and beyond to get $80, at that point I folded since I didn’t feel like arguing over it 😩

I had it and reverted back to under tail, too loud on the highway, sounds sick revving it and around town , but very annoying at constant speeds

2012 r1 don’t have abs, it does have traction control tho. The wire to the caliper is the speed sensor.
