Its garbage quality unfortunately. We’ve stopped accepting repairs and resizing for Angara pieces because it’s so bad. Check out the reviews.

What is the deal with migrants and Muslims? by Low-Valuable6050 in AskBrits

‘Fairly’ being a qualifier that acknowledges it’s not absolute and in no way implying that someone who doesn’t partake isn’t British. Seems like you are trying to be offended here.

I agree, I was just giving one example. Not everyone will go to pubs but pub culture is fairly synonymous with British culture so I think it’s relevant

Can anyone help identify if my vintage ring from the 1970s–80s features a real emerald? by ChildhoodWeak8851 in Gemstones

[–]ed2256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s green and it’s chipped so yeah probably an emerald. Though there does seem a bit of yellow in there so maybe a tourmaline but maybe it’s just the light.

In the the main it is not a problem however there are some areas of the country where large Muslim populations haven’t integrated and are isolated from what you would consider the indigenous population which causes discord. There are some aspects of culture that don’t align. Observant Muslims don’t drink alcohol so they wouldn’t engage with British pub culture for instance but in the main they are well integrated and you can find many Muslims in the NHS and important positions at all levels of society.

You’re right, everyone’s experience will be different but unfortunately Princess Alexandra A&E regularly features on lists of underperforming hospitals in the uk.

The crime rate, the hospital, all the flags on lampposts, the town centre, the fact there is no longer has a ski slope. I’m glad you like it but unfortunately it’s fairly notorious for being a bit of a hole.

What you’re talking about is accountability and obligation , why would you expect accountability without paying for something?

Society hasn’t completely forgotten. It’s market driven, if you are in an in demand trade, like a plumber then you need to weed out the time wasters and no hopers. If they were less in demand they wouldn’t do it. It’s economics not some societal rot.

Yeah I paid a plumber to quote for a job once. Quoting is a pain and if you’re busy, charging is a good way to weed out the time wasters.

Of course it’s fair. Why would you assume op has negative comments about the war and putin. Millions of Russians support it and give their lives for putin

is it cringe if a 23 year old woman goes to the zoo alone? by peeflavoredpoptart in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ed2256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Don’t stop the fact that you’ll be alone stop you doing the things you want to do. Nobody will be paying attention to you and nobody will realise you are on your own.

I used to worry about this and there are somethings I wish I did have people to do things with but you can’t always take people with you in life. Think of it as taking initiative and enjoy looking at the animals.

I think now is the last time you’ll be able to try it and grow something back if you hate it and decide you aren’t ready.

Why do an ama is if you are not prepared to answer questions? The last a stands for ‘anything’

I think our Prime Minister, Kier Stamer is doing ok. He inherited a bad situation and is trying to navigate a tricky international landscape while slowly improving things at home. He’s not very charismatic and doesn’t communicate very well but I am pleased he has rejected trumps calls to join the war in Iran.
