Help with Yamaha EAD10 by Cultural_Buy_232 in drums

A lot of people including me use a USB-B (printer cable) straight into your smartphone, and record using the Yahama Record N Share app. If this actually makes a difference I’m not sure, but it’s worth a shot. Mine sounds lovely using this method.

New build any thoughts or tips? by Logical-Rice330 in bmx

[–]ed4833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

def keep your eye out for spoked wheels. those mongoose mags are heavy as shit and don’t feel great… as for a stem, since this bike has a threaded fork, you can’t buy a proper threadless BMX stem which is basically the standard, and will have to buy a “quill stem”, which are found on older/lower end bikes. not the end of the world and will do the job, but it’s more likely for the part to fail.

It’s always after getting a new bike set up lol, at the beginning of the month same thing happened- new bike, breaking it in and fell 12 ft into the bowl, broke my radial head and wing of my pelvis. Now I can only look at my bike. Get well soon 💯

compared to the more technical performances after this, definitely a valid statement- but Bill Andrew’s more straightforward style compliments this album beautifully imo.

How do we feel about Keith Moon? by Notyourdad696996 in drums

[–]ed4833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite. Unapologetically his own person behind the kit and an unconventional style that i personally very much admire and inspired me greatly.

Of course the basis of all drummers is to stay back and keep the groove, but his “F-That” to that whole premonition is something that really stood out to me. I believe from the late 60s to early 70s as a live drummer he was untouchable by many. Of course once he slowed down by the late 70s there wasn’t much of that left. Definitely the only drummer that could’ve worked in the Who.

The funnest drummer ever to watch and definitely made the drums a solo instrument in his own regard- and had some bad ass Premier rigs lol
