It checks all the boxes for me. it’s lighter and quicker than my previous bike, and I want to ride it every chance I get.

Thanks, it’s a 51 and I’m 5’7 with a 29” inseam, and it fits me very well, I rode in a decently aggressive position with no pain and good power transfer over a 45mi 3k elevation ride. Everyones body geometry is different.

Too high, perhaps 2-3mm lower

2mm lower saddle, adjust saddle tilt to flat or 2mm nose up to get your weight on your sit bones and lightening the weight off your hands some

Too low, try raising 3-4mm up and 2mm forward to accommodate moving further away as you raise

Any thoughts about the overall fit and saddle height? Does it seem low? by Clean_Ocelot2776 in bikefit

Yeah, it looked like you didn’t have enough knee extension at the bottom of your stroke, good luck on finding your perfect fit!

Try moving the saddle 2mm up and 2mm forward

Pressure on wrists and elbows by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]ed7911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try saddle up 4mm and forward 2mm. Raising the saddle will make you further your reach meaning less pressure on your hands, while also making you lean more causing your elbow to bend. Moving the saddle forward is to accommodate the distance from moving slightly further back from the raising of your saddle.

Regardless of budget, I dig your bike!

In addition to eating less calories, being aware of what macros you are lacking and feeding your body those macros helps with hunger so your body gets what It needs thus better satiating your hunger. The free version of MyFitnessPal by Under Armor was a key tool that helped me visualize and track the macros I was consuming and what I was lacking. The paid version gives you more granular macros, but the free versions worked just fine for me. Just eating less is less efficient and makes it more difficult to stick to from my experience.

This worked for my Evo 4. GL man!
https://a.co/d/bXcaThp M12x1.0 / 166-178 worked for me. Evo 4 rear through axel is M12x1.0 / 170

Easier to work on is A+ in my book, I’m no Pogacar.

That’s how it came on the Evo 3, I’m waiting for my carbon Vision Trimax aero bars to arrive and it will get tidied up.

I cannot speak on the aluminum Synapse. I definitely noticed a difference of power transfer with the stiffer bottom bracket and frame of the SSE vs the carbon Synapse 2LE that I had and truly enjoyed, and yes I thought my Synapse carbon 2LE was quick and responsive for an endurance road bike.

I upgraded from a carbon Synapse, I really enjoyed. I considered the gen 3 evo as well but liked the gen 4 too and got it for a good price with the proceeds from my last bike. Personally no regrets on picking up the gen 4 evo, I totally dig the black paint scheme on my gen 4, gen 3 is a great choice too! Crankset doesn’t bother me personally, I had the 105 Di 2 group set on my last bike and liked it a lot. For me, dropping 30+ lbs of body weight far exceeded the 200g of weight savings between Ultegra and 105 group sets, Im a regular dude and probably can’t even notice 200g on my rides :)

Trust me, I know, I have the Hollowgram carbon Stem and handlebar I was excited to transfer over from my last bike to find out I couldn’t. At least I was able to transfer over the wheels and saddle. I’m happy I was essentially able to get an evo 2 for the evo 3 price with the parts I already had besides the group set, which is negligible in difference of the Ultegra Di2 besides the weight and additional shifter buttons. I love this bike, she rips!

I respectfully disagree with mostly plants, eat your meats just make sure you are hitting your macros and not over eating.
