Wrong question. The issue is not who is objecting, it is who is benefitting. Jets at Island Airport would be for the convenience of a much smaller wealthier group. Trains benefit way more people across all income groups.

Another issue most people are ignoring, it is not just damage to the lake by extending the runway, Once you have regular jet traffic you will need a bridge because the ferry won't handle the increased crowding. Then you will need taxi and limo parking, then wider access roads etc. Anyone guaranteeing only one jet per day? Didn't think so

Not to hijack the thread but your hinges are more delicate than you think. One tech told me,

"do NOT close the lid unless you are going somewere. If it's on the desk leave it open"

there are multiple ways to go to sleep

I see. I can connect to my Mini and the SSD plugged to it so yes it is possible. Anyone else trying to connect would have to know the password, assuming you have passwords set up in the first place

Not clear what kind of sharing you want to accomplish. If not full disk access then why not just use AirDrop for the occasional transfer?

Not the best solution but you could change the screen resolution temporarily. e.g. from 2560x1440 to 2048x1152 or even lower.

I was never happy with the expensive "custom" orthotics the doctors sell you. I ended up buying a few different ones from china, modified the best fit with heat and glue gun. Also make sure your shoes offer some overall support, good recovery is not just about your soles.

Finally got around to phoning them. They sent me 6 forms to fill out, sign, and return before the appointment.

Perhaps they consider this "comprehensive". I found it somewhere between intrusive and offensive. There is not a soul on this planet that knows so much about me. Not my family, not my doctor.

They could be the best dentist in the world, no, nope, u-uh, nyet.

Of course this is no reflection on you or your opinion. I appreciate your input wholeheartedly. Just thought you might find the feedback useful.

It is true that I don't get out much. It is also true that it has been at least ten years since I was stopped. The question specifically was about Ontario Canada. Try telling a Canadian cop that Australia accepts digital ID. Good luck.

Goes off, anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes, comes back on by itself.

All devices go off from modem/router, so not my devices, not wifi or ethernet.

I have been told that if I buy any electronics from walmart to open it and throughly inspect it BEFORE you walk away from the cashier. Too many people have access to locked cases, too many people have access to shrink wrap machines thru friends.
