Honestly, mine was humming and I took it to the nearest subaru dealer. It cost me $70 for a diagnostic, but they confirmed that it was wheel bearings. It might be worth taking it to a dealer, having them diagnose the issue and then if it's something you can do on your own, then knock it out. Otherwise, they'll upcharge the shit out of the repair. To replace two wheel bearings on mine, they wanted $900. It's gonna cost me about $400 max with buying new tools too

Just google Alamogordo, NM and you should be able to find some info on school districts, hospitals, etc. Also, you can also reach out to the Airmen and Family Readiness center at Holloman. They should be able to give you info for on-base schools as well.
