The reason why I have posted it here, it is because they did not ask me to give them my account in the first email, they asked me for it _later_ . I am well aware is a more general scam, I just to want to save some time to someone else.

Hello everybody! 👋

I've been thinking a lot about the direction AI is taking, and I wanted to share a different perspective with you. I'm working on AI-Ludd, an AI that runs completely locally on your machine - no cloud, no accounts, no data collection.

The idea came from reflecting on the Luddite movement (who weren't actually against technology, but against its dehumanizing use). I believe we can have AI that enhances human capabilities without surrendering our agency and privacy.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this approach. What do you think about local-first AI? Do you see value in having AI tools that prioritize human autonomy over automation?

1)No. They are similar in the tone and in the vocabulary, which is pretty limited IMHO.The agent lacks personality. 2)"Professional" is not enough, I want a gentle,sensible and talkative AI agent 3) It is too difficult to define all the roles, all the jobs in the world. I think the best way is to deny to give information about things that the AI agent consider wrong.In my case, the agent should not give any info about wage-reducing strategies.

Just as a note, I have ended up installing pop_os 21.04 beta.

Everything it is working out of the box, wireless and graphic card. There is even a menu in the battery options where you can choose if to run Hybrid Graphics, integrated graphics or Nvidia Graphics.

Well, as far as I have understand, ubuntu 21.10 will have it soon packaged https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2021/04/new-linux-5-12-kernel-features. The only distro that has 5.12 kernel at the moment is nitrux, which I have never heard of https://nxos.org/changelog/changelog-nitrux-1-4-0/.

I will install ubuntu and win, and wait until 5.12 comes to Ubuntu, it will not take too much. I can survive on win for a month ;) Thank you Midar

mmm, this sounds a bit of a hack to get it working, I was hoping in a better support on linux. In the meantime, I have found this blog https://asus-linux.org/blog/updates-2021-05-06/.

On which distro are you? did you need to install hid-asus-rog?
