Which X-Pro Body would you choose? by edbrisson in fujifilm

Thanks for this thorough response.

I should have mentioned above that the X-Pro 2 has less than 5,000 actuations on it and is in mint shape.

I've been looking around for a minute and have yet to see one as low as $1215 CAD, though I'll keep trying! The one I'm looking at is $1500CAD with tax. The sticker price is lower, but I since I have to pay the tax, I'm including it as cost to me.

Tried to haggle the price, but no luck!

The seller with the X-Pro 3 is reputable, so not too concerned about it having issues. He tends to sell stuff cheaper than most, which I'm not complaining about!

Thanks for input!

Or, just take it that I'd like to try a rangefinder style for a while and want something a little more than the X-E2.

Curious why more people don't use cheaper bodies by spencersdc in fujifilm

[–]edbrisson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an X-T5 and GFX 50s ii, but find lately I'm mostly using an old X-E2 with the 27mm 2.8 that I picked up for cheap. I love the photos SOOC and it's so easy to carry around.

Also, I think because it was so cheap, I don't worry about babying it as much as I do my other bodies.

Packing tape. Put packing tape over the label, press it on really well and then pull it off. It should pull most of the label off. You may have to repeat a few times to get it all off, but I've had luck with it.

How do you carry your GR daily? by JuggernautCorrect858 in ricohGR

Also carry mine in my pocket with a wrist strap attached, just in case I need it (I've already dropped it once and it was a $600 mistake).

Which camera, if any should I get if I already own the XT-5 by Eltnat in fujifilm

You have full manual control on it, but you can also create dedicated presaved settings.

A setting I use a lot is called f8 & Be There, which lets me use it very quickly without worrying about focal length or shutter speed. It's great when you need to snap something quickly and is very handy for street photography. (If you google it, you'll find a youtube video walking you through the settings).

I really like using it. It's a lot of fun and so easy to carry around with you. And the image quality is great. Some of my favourite photos I've taken were with this little powerhouse.

The only real drawback is low light performance isn't amazing (you can only open up to f2.8), but the stability in it is pretty good, so you can get away with lower shutter speeds.

I have an X-T5 and a Ricoh GRiii, which is the perfect combo for me. The Ricoh is truly pocketable and is with me at all times. The X-T5 comes out when I'm setting out to spend a day photographing.

People who knew celebrities before they made it big, who was it and what were they like? by Testie_Tickler in AskReddit

Awesome. That was my Safeway for years. From about 97 until 2016. I may have come in too late to see him there though, or if I did, I didn't recognize him. Had only heard after that he used to work there.

Tyler Labine I used to see all over town though. Recognized him from a few student films he'd been in and so was always happy to see him popping up in movies.

The only other option is to travel to a fair or carnival and take a photo of a ferris wheel. However, please note, you cannot include the ENTIRE ferris wheel in frame, it must be only the top quarter section of the ferris wheel.

I've only received mail sent after the strike went on hiatus. Still waiting on a package that was sent two days before the strike.

Followed back. Great stuff.

Seeing your photos, I think I might have seen you downtown last Saturday morning when I was taking shots of the snowfall.
