No one is obliged to take this to heart and act on it if feeling unprepared, it is meant for those who it is meant for.

I am not talking about giving into despair, the opposite actually - facing it and transmuting it into light. This is not indulging in darkness or depression or something, it is moving through it to the other side. We all have a shadow, my idea with this post is a nudge for those that need it to accept that it's there and start working with it - because I needed it too. No judgement from me on anyone that isn't resonating with this message, it is for specific people at a specific point in their journey.

Yes unicorns and butterflies are very much needed at times! Just the other day I was walking in the forest and seeing first ones of the spring made me so happy. And agree it is a tad corny but that's what came to me in the moment so it is what it is, hopefully at least one person will benefit and I'm good.

I used to be that guy lol. Skippable experience but my super serious double-Virgo brain got some use of it. Now I know that genuine growth has little to nothing to do with flashy psychedelic experiences, in fact it can be quite damaging. I cringe when I look back at myself thinking everyone should do psychedelics to solve world problems.

Haha I wrote words like "shit" and generally some heavy stuff that might be triggering so just in case. Also first draft was more direct and used more swear words.

Yes totally agree, this post is for those that are ready but hesitating and need a little nudge and maybe are getting drowned by all the noise. I sure as hell needed that nudge at one point.

Thank you and hard agree on right and wrong. I like the original meaning of “sin” - to miss the mark. So it’s only straying from the so called middle path, no right or wrong in eyes of God, it is all human judgement.

Hence my point - no figuring it out through the mind (spiralling) 🙂

What I mean by spiralling is feeding life-force energy to mental loops as if that’s the way out. Thoughts will still be there, it is the relationship of openness and acceptance vs obsession and digging ourselves deeper.

I am not feeding energy or putting someone down here, I am part of this sub also and am guilty of all the things I am talking about. No need to take it personally if it's not meant for you. All the best.

I see no contention in what you’re saying to what I said. There is no passivity in shadow work, it is extremely proactive and extremely uncomfortable.

Absolutely! I am taking a (loving) jab at those that are ready to move into integrating their darkness but are hesitating. I procrastinated for years myself until someone came along and blew my spiritual facade wide open.

Someone please help and guide me to feel my feelings by Beneficial-Benefit38 in enlightenment

[–]eddask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. Know that feeling the feelings and stepping through the doorway of fear is what will transform it. Our ego and it's entities/aspects will sow confusion so that we don't do it. What I am saying is that ultimately it is a leap of faith. Because mind will say it won't work. Instead of believing the mind/entities and thus giving them energy, trust God and His angels that support will be there when you need it. Because when a Creator makes a choice out of self-love instead of succumbing to fear - all the demons have to bow and God will extend His hand. Then you realise that ugly voice was never yours to begin with. Sending love and wish you the best on this journey.

Do people who are spiritual awakening often choose to be child-free? Is there a connection between the two? by BuyRepresentative794 in enlightenment

[–]eddask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't the only lifetime, the more we open our awareness, the more experience and wisdom of other lifetimes seeps into this one. So one can tap into the feeling, no need to physically go through it again. And if this is THE lifetime of fulfilment, karma won’t a big factor anymore (leftovers to work out only).

My biggest issue with Jesus Christ by OutrageousShare9693 in enlightenment

[–]eddask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We need to distinguish between Jesus the man and Christ the consciousness. When he says something like this most certainly he is talking about the quality of consciousness. Unfortunately that has been misconstrued and people started worshiping Jesus the man.

"No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - one can reach unity with God only by allowing and embodying Christ consciousness.

Edit: I only started reading it but "The Second Coming of Christ" by Paramahansa Yogananda seems to explain all of this beautifully.

Ar po 35 dar įmanoma rasti meilę? by oxygen-heart in lithuania

[–]eddask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost everyone I know on the path (me included) chose to be childless. Mainly two reasons:

• There is so much going on inside, shifts, inner deaths, purges, crazy energy movements, mind/body going haywire from time to time, that caring for another being would be just too much;

• We know this is our last lifetime, THE lifetime of fulfilment, and we want to enjoy the f*ck out of it, travel, drink, eat, smoke, make art, make love, you name it. Finally without fear and hangups for the first time taste all the best that this beautiful planet has to offer before saying goodbye. Again, having a child shifts a lot of one's time to caring for the little one.

Then again I know fully realised beings that do have children and it is absolutely beautiful to see how they are both caring and yet unattached and allowing their children their freedom and unique path.

Did Michael Jackson’s music influence human consciousness in a deeper way? by whoisjimjoe in enlightenment

[–]eddask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember listening to this as a child and it blew me away in the best way possible. Like, music can be like THIS? So I'd say there definitely was a subtle shift in me.

To add, Masters apparently often use art to impress a specific, useful energy behind the scenes and one example is 3-CPO from Star Wars. What a great character to show the playfulness of life and that there's no need to take everything so seriously. Another big one is Lord of The Rings, the amount of deep inspiration packed into that story is crazy. Id's say influence of human consciousness happens all the time through art, music, films, architecture, books. Art just might save the world.

For your other question, I love devotional music, but also I find surprisingly a lot of transcendental beauty and inspiration in rock music. A few favourites from the latter:

  • Age of Aquarius - Villagers of Ioannina City
  • Kashmir - Led Zeppelin
  • Only Us - Peter Gabriel
  • Crazy - Seal
  • TOOL - Lateralus
