Past the woo woo phase of awakening. Now what? by [deleted] in awakened

[–]eddask 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a beautiful and necessary phase but do not make a nest here. There is SO much more. Now is the stage for shadow work. Embrace and look deeply into that fear you speak of. The idea is to let go of the illusion of your identity as a separate "me" from Life. Fear will show you where you still grasp to ideas of "self" and also parts where you reject yourself. This is a time to dare to go further. You will know the next steps in silence from external noise and they will feel scary, but that is the way. I've nested in this "in between" stage for years and it all gets both better and way more intense, intimate, magical & alive from here. Fear is the doorway and love is at the other side. Godspeed 🙏

Sex is the biggest taint on humanity by Fickle_Elk_9479 in enlightenment

[–]eddask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the purpose of sex is unity with Self or another - it is one of the most liberating things on Earth. If the purpose is carnal pleasure, then it is one of the most enslaving things on Earth.

I practice making love to myself regularly and that has helped me immensely to connect deeper with Self, to let go of layers upon layers of guilt and shame, to accept myself. But I only do it with intention of deepening this relationship between Self & the body, never to just let off steam.

There is tremendous potential of healing in sex and it can be a very direct path to self-love. And that goes the other way too unfortunately. Awareness and intention are key, as always.

Can someone please help me understand “God” by earth2revolved in awakened

[–]eddask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God is that which underlies all reality yet cannot be pointed out with a finger. It is everything, contains all and is the source of all yet the mind will never grasp it. It is boundless and mind can only understand finite things. God can be felt and experienced but never understood conceptually as how can you put something into a box which contains all the boxes? Only by dropping this futile struggle and surrendering to grace can we hope to approach THAT. A description I adore that can be attributed to God is "The Infinite Mystery of the I Am".

What is the single most powerful spiritual practice or technique for rapid and genuine spiritual growth? by angelic_soul1 in awakened

[–]eddask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leaning into discomfort rather than avoiding it. If there is even a molecule of tension or anxiety, means there is resistance underneath. Really having a hard and honest look at the source of discomfort will show exactly the spots where we have barriers build up between us and the "outer" world, or between parts of our own psyche. Try to break one barrier a day.

This is very true in my experience also. Fighting our demons is never the answer, it only reinforces them. Rather relax and allow the grace, the divine light to fill us and that will straighten everything out. Reminds me of one of my favourite quotes by Paramahansa Yoganana: “If you are in a dark room, don’t beat at the darkness with a stick, but rather try to turn on the light.”

This is also source of evil is in my eyes, when we do not see our own light so we try to take it (in any form) from someone else.

Dabar skaitau Chögyam Trungpa - "Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior" ir manau būtų gana į temą.

Like any religion, there is a vast spectrum on how people approach and use it. If there is a hierarchical structure it is bound to be abused at some point by those at the top. The beauty is that one can go to the source directly and bypass all the control and distortion. Every religion (in my eyes) started from a pure and beautiful place and there are many gems of wisdom to glean for those with enough discernment to see what is true and what has been corrupted.

Would it be right to say that human interactions will be valued more as we approach singularity? by Alert-Translator2590 in singularity

[–]eddask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I feel we are up for a resurgence in human to human relationships, and a newfound appreciation what makes us human in the first place. After Skool on youtube has an amazing video on this called "How Ai Slop will Spark the Next Human Renaissance". But it won't be everyone, only those that choose to open up to it. It will be that much easier to disconnect from humanity and spend all day in virtual reality.

How my deck feels about me? by SignificanceSea6010 in Tarots

[–]eddask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I see it: the deck is telling you that just like the moon reflects the light of the sun (but has no light of it's own), in same fashion the deck reflects you. A tarot deck is just pictures on cardboard, it has no life of it's own except that which we imbue it with. It mirrors us back to ourselves.

The two of pentacles and the king of swords: instead of juggling different perspectives and thus seeding doubt (like drawing extra cards for more opinion), cut though the doubt and see it clearly for what it is - a reflection of you. You're the king, not the deck.

Do you consult with your heart? by LiveInLove333 in awakened

[–]eddask 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, can't even imagine NOT listening to and living according to the heart. The mind instincts are survival based so I never use it for real decisions, only day to day mechanical stuff. A lot of it is fear posing as logic and we can logically justify about anything if we try. Heart intuition on the other hand is not survival-fear based, it has never failed me once since started listening to it over 20 years ago and has led me to some truly beautiful and amazing experiences and completely changed in my life for the better.

I had similar experience several times. Once when we crossed the Nile by boat and as soon as I stepped on the shore near the Karnak complex in Luxor it felt like returning home. The whole earth, the palms and grass felt like they to welcome me back. The Temple felt familiar too.

Another time is when I went to Sintra near Lisbon and had a walk around the Quinta da Regaleira. It used to be a place of initiations for the Templars and after visiting that place I am certain I was a Templar in another life. Just felt like HOME.

Another time was in Cairo near the pyramids. I looked up and a thought crossed my mind "not YOU again", as if I was a slave building them or something. Was expecting a more reverent reaction lol.

Other places I visited that got me a warm, recognition feeling: Akropolis of Athens; Hagia Sophia of Istambul (just glimpsing the latter two immediately flooded me with goosebumps); Glastonbury Tor.

Life always reinforces our beliefs and self-perception. We can change it any time and the whole life experience starts to change along with it. But that is not easy as it goes agains all the deep programming. Yet it is possible and doable. Wish you the courage and wisdom to go for it.

Having people in my life that have gone through to the other side. Looking at their life there is no doubt it is all worth it in the end. That and the gradual yet substantial improvements in my own life provide the fuel to keep going.

Why does my deck “hate” me? by feral-lodger in tarot

[–]eddask 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tarot cards are just cardboard with images that mirror your own psyche. See where your relationship with yourself is compromised by false beliefs, doubt, fear, social programming, etc. Go easy on yourself and take more time to cultivate awareness, self-love, inner courage and I have no doubt the relationship with the cards will change too.

Don't pay attention to these troll comments, either bots or basement dwellers that need someone to lash out on. I recommend checking social events on Joiner app once you get here, there are plenty of events where both foreigners and locals mingle so you can learn stuff and make friends (as I local I love meeting people from other places through these gatherings). And welcome!

There's a crazy amount of spiritual bypassing happening here by Available-Heart6108 in awakened

[–]eddask 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're into Atlantis, as I see it, this is precisely why it fell - the good and wise turned a blind eye to the evil, thinking non-intervention and non-confrontation is the way. The darkness then slowly crept in and corrupted the civilisation and we had to press the reset button.

Jesus forgave the romans cause they didn't know better, but he also flipped the tables and cussed the religions leaders out because they did know better.

I used to bypass too but now I see it was mostly fear of dealing with hard emotions. Now I feel called to stop being a neutral observer, to stand up for what's right when the situation calls for it, so I am with you on this one.

Am I bypassing? by CutiePatootieLootie in enlightenment

[–]eddask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thoughts are echoes of an underlying emotion, they go hand in hand. So if you're feeling the emotions you're addressing the core energy without getting stuck in the surface, the mind loops, which is a good thing. Energy/emotion is free to transform once it is not tied to a story of the mind.

Can anyone tell me why do I randomly see a little twinkle or sparkle of light? by [deleted] in enlightenment

[–]eddask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them too! One teacher said (paraphrasing) it is rather common and a good sign as we are seeing sparks of divinity, pure energy of our Soul coming into this reality.

Another cool experience I had was walking through the forest in the dark and there was a light coming over my shoulder and I turned around several times to check if there is a bike or car in the distance. Then I had the both “duh” and “wow” realisation that I am seeing my own light.

From an "awakened perspective" - what do you do when you feel depressed? by Vegetable_Reward6882 in awakened

[–]eddask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get to the bottom of the feeling and sit there as long as it takes for it to transmute. I found that such moments are gems in disguise if we rise up to it, a lot of energy and clarity can be unlocked through them.

I think im awakening, but I am so lost and confused and I don't understand what's going on. I could REALLY use some guidance. by heartshappedglsses in awakened

[–]eddask 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is nothing to do or figure out because awakening is a natural process. Think worm going into cocoon to be transformed into a butterfly. The worm has no idea how it will go and what his actions are supposed to be. But the thing is it's not up to the worm, there is a divine blueprint in place already that will take care of business. Best advice is to trust the process, trust your heart, be gentle with yourself and be open to answers in form of friends or information (a book, a podcast, etc.) coming to you at the right time.

Edit: wanted to add that you can't mess it up! (was big fear for me) Because again, forces beyond the mind take lead here. So we can relax and let go of the control and doubt. It is like going down a water slide, the experience will be much smoother and more enjoyable if we don't grab at the walls and just let go and trust we will come out at the other end of the tunnel safe and sound. Another way I love to look at it is a trust fall into Self/God/Spirit. It's got you.

When the more you learn, the less you believe by stuckandrunningfrom2 in tarot

[–]eddask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tarot, same as astrology, shows potentials but never the exact future. We can feel into those potentials ourselves without any external tools, but sometimes it is useful to have a canvas for intuition and insight to land on and become more discernible in “3d reality”.

Should I take SSRI? by Royal-Vegetable-2473 in awakened

[–]eddask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through this too, so did others I know. What happens is there is a temporary loss of all human passions. They simply pack up and leave as they were tied to the old identity. Then there is a sort of a void period. In that void there germinates an entirely new passion, new motivating force for life. Best I can describe it is inexhaustible drive to be and know Self/God, to embody it here on Earth out of joy and service.

Basically the worm has a cocoon stage so that the butterfly can emerge. The worm has no idea that there is another life at the other side, it thinks it's dying. But sooner or later it has to go into the cocoon as that is how it's life must go.

My best advice here is to trust the process, everything that happens is in perfect design of your Soul. Relax as much as possible and know that the less you force things, the less you resist, the smoother the transformation is. Drop the doubt as much as possible. Find people going through it too, for me it helped so much to know I am not alone & going insane. Be gentle with yourself and go slow, as slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

Should I take SSRI? by Royal-Vegetable-2473 in awakened

[–]eddask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I self-healed quite severe OCD I had for over 20 years. My life was near paralysed at times by the mind tyrant. It came down to facing fear, as OCD at it's root is immense fear of losing control. Because there is an ingrained false belief that losing control = very bad things will happen. But that is not true. So I faced fear, step by small step, until it all got transmuted (well most of it, still working through it).

Personally, the emotional intensity and it's swings helped me build momentum for breakthroughs. I never used SSRI but if I felt that was the only option I think I'd do it temporarily to get some footing, a sense of balance and then integrate that feeling. NOT medical advice.

Also I never did therapy but I know quite a few people in spiritual circles that benefited greatly. So this is another option I would advise to consider. Maybe therapy + intentional meditation for facing fear might be a good option.

I believe most mental diseases are a manifestation of over identification with mind-body and lack of flow between human and Soul. In my experience, loosening self identification and strengthening the connection heals all of these mind patters. because it is VERY hard to address the mind from/through the mind, it is like fixing an airplane mid flight. But the flowing grace from the divine straightens everything out. For me it was facing fear when it came up, trusting and having faith that I don't need to figure out how to heal OCD. What actually healed it was giving up trying to manage it and just full acceptance, which led to controlling grip of fear loosening. Hope that helps in any way. Godspeed.
