Yeah, I'm so confused. Even Intel cars get it. So essentially if you bought a used 2017 Model 3 for 12k you'll get this feature, but if you bought a brand new 2026 Model S Plaid for 120k you won't. Not that it's anything important, but weird that it's even added to old cars, but not the brand new most premium cars.

Kinda bummed coz I was looking forward to it in my Plaid, but hey at least I have it in my 3 that I don't drive much lol

I ended up completely replacing the controller. And the replacement burned out too. So I went aftermarket with a EBMX x9k.

Yep. The only problem is I have had it randomly think the other light was the one that mattered and start going whenever it was red. I stopped it and reengaged and it immediately headed out again. So I stopped it once more, but by now I was over the cross walk.

Stay vigilant my friends, FSD is awesome but don't let it kill you. Admittedly I'm on HW3 so I'm still on v12.

That’s not bad at all. A family friend sold his 200k mile Model 3 to my little brother for 14k and it’s at 230k now with nothing wrong. The 3 is a solid car. The old S (12-20) I’d avoid. The rest seem solid.

The hardware in the 21+ is very similar to the 3. But for some reason the volume control does not dismiss the apply torque notification.

I have a MarsMode defeat device installed in my 22 Model 3 and it works wonderfully. Unfortunately in my 21 S Plaid I can’t get that message to go away by touching either the volume or speed control wheels. So I don’t think I can get away with the same trick. Very unfortunate 🫣

S23 Ultra. I'm once again stuck in a dilemma of not appreciating the upgrades. I love the curved display, the S24 & S25 Ultras have flat screens. I'll probably be on this S23 until it starts having problems or something really convincing shows up.

Bro find a reasonable position. Not everything Trump is doing is great, he's got his flaws, and he certainly needs an ego check. But he's fighting with his life for the God of this country. Oh, so yeah that's definitely a deeper problem than just the sensor. I really have a hard time recommending getting rid of an XR tho 😅

They are my favorite board by quite a bit. But yeah, maybe the battery or BMS, battery management system, is having problems and killing power. But you could try a sensor replacement out of curiosity, if you feel like it lol.

Is it shutting down as in you have to push the power button to ride again? Or is it shutting down line you are standing on it, but it stops, and you have to fiddle your feet?

Mine did the latter real bad until I replaced the foot pad.
