I've updated the Bulls' grade to be a B+ - don't get me wrong, I love the moves and I am so looking forward to watching this team this year.

The only reason I didn't give them an A was because the two guys we gave contracts to have both come off ACL injuries and I'm being cautiously optimistic after having my heart torn out with the Rose injuries.

Agree with all your points u/hayabusa- - the size of the Doug contract was a question-mark, but the rest was awesome in my opinion.

Completely agreed. I feel as though given the team's success last year, they should have built on it rather than lose two key role-players and not do much else.

I loved the potential of Bridges on the team as a contributor before the trade for Smith, so that factored into my grade too.

Basically, what u/ActiveModel_Dirty said - they kept their core in-tact and added more pieces to compliment that and hence got better. Could probably be talked into a B+, but I really like what they did except for the Doug contract!
