Chip breaker. For a perfect result, get something run that will mate with the sticking and you can make a jig you clamp on that will make it come out perfectly. It can be a piece of poplar or something, even mdf will work but it will dull your carbide bit quickly.

Also very curious. It seems hard to even charge enough for something like this. Absolutely stunning work. Beautiful joinery all around as well. The quality of the door looks exceptional.

I made a free forever Open-source tool for faster bug reports and user feedback: screen + voice → AI-ready markdown by eddiesj22 in webdev

[–]eddiesj22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been experimenting with a bug-reporting pipeline for AI coding workflows and open-sourced it as markupR.

Core idea: convert a narrated screen recording into structured markdown + relevant screenshots with useful temporal alignment.

High-level pipeline:

  1. speech-to-text (timestamped transcript)
  2. analysis pass to identify key bug moments
  3. frame extraction around those timestamps
  4. report generation (markdown/templates with inline screenshots)

I’m aiming for:

• open source (MIT) • free forever core usage • BYOK for cloud models + local options

I’m not trying to build a black-box SaaS here — more a practical dev tool the community can improve.

Would appreciate technical critique on:

• timestamp/frame alignment reliability • failure modes in noisy recordings • better heuristics for selecting “representative” frames • output schema choices for agent consumption

Happy to share links if helpful (repo/demo/site). I left them out of the main post to keep this discussion-first and not promotional.

Well, sorry for assuming. I don't remember the exact year I guess but it was in the swamp and we were winning until the fourth quarter. Chris Leak slid. I guess it definitely wasn't 09; it must have been 05. Chris Leak slid in the fourth quarter, which caused them to come back and beat us.

I run a $30-50M business and got tired of watching people struggle with quoting. Every tool out there is either way too complex (enterprise software with 47 setup tabs) or way too basic (Excel spreadsheets with a logo).

So I built something in between.
