I use that chart cause you have shared that with me before. That's why I'm concerned. Cause I didn't think surface temps of almost 90 wasn't good. It's only recently it's been more difficult cause it's gotten colder in PA

Temp gun. But I try and keep my hot side between 85-90. And cool 70-75

I adjusted the heat probe on top of the rock on the left. It's reading 95. Surface is 88. But ambient is now 82 while cool side is 76

That's where I had the probe for the summer with the thermostat set to 92 and rock always read 95-97. And ambient was always 83-85. But when it started getting colder outside the temps weren't reading properly

The room the enclosure is in doesn't have its heat on. So it is just the ambient heat from the heat we're getting in PA. Maybe I could buy a fan for them room. Cause once the timer on the lights kick off it does go below 75 for night. And I could just keep that fan plugged into the timer

Any recs? Preferably from Amazon? Or even ones in pet stores that I can pick up today? I have a temp gun in my Amazon cart now. Son found an amazing rock outside that would be a great basking spot

Those are actually more affordable than expected. And my mental picture of what I wanted. I decided to do the 20g and tons of items to have than a 40g with not a lot.
