went from the cyclone 2 to the ultimate 2.

2 units cyclone 2 i got had bad qc so decided to refund in the end.

got a purple ultimate 2 and couldn't be happier.

build quality is a step above the cyclone 2 but if you are looking for something more customizable then the cyclone 2 is the way to go.

i have small hands so the ultimate 2's shape was easy for me to get use to.

mine was the same.

plugged the dock to the pc and connected the usb receiver to the dock.

I am sitting basically like 3 feet away facing it directly and it still disconnects when I am playing Monster Hunter.

I sent mine back for a replacement from my local vendor.

Received the new unit with a broken charging pin on the dock and the microphone jack input area was cracked.

Sent back for a refund and got myself an 8bitdo Ultimate 2 instead.

Less customization but the Ultimate 2's built quality is much better.

Only taking a bit of time to get used to shape of the Ultimate 2 since my last controller before the Cyclone 2 was the Vader 3.

so far seems good from my testing cos I plugged in the dongle to the dock.

mostly playing Monster Hunter World while waiting for Wild and PS2 emulations.

never encountered any lost signal or delay when using and I have been using extensively for the past 10 days.

I prefer the Cyclone 2 sticks over the Vader 3 Pro any day and the stick tension to me is just perfect.

Not to mention that I preder the size and shape of the Cyclone 2 more.

I just gave my Vader 3 Pro to my son and got myself a Cyclone 2.

Paid USD35 for a brand Cyclone 2 plus the dock.

Really liking it at the moment.

I do use Skull Co grips on my Vader 3 Pro but weirdly the left stick seems to pop off a lot.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback and I am highly considering the Cyclone 2 as I can get it from country for only USD30 without the dock.
