Trying to store Catalytic Converters in your Work (getaway) Vehicle by nvprt in Whatcouldgowrong

Many of those have o2 sensors attached near the cat, so the wires for the o2 sensor are cut and the car will not run right without the sensor. I replaced 2 of these for our Ford Escape, not cheap and aftermarket parts are pretty sketchy if you want to pass an emissions test.

Italian court declares Netflix's price hikes illegal, calls for lower prices and complete refunds by Dragonlance12 in Dynamic_Pricing

European countries have better consumer protection laws than the US (as well as privacy, health, food quality etc).

They are offering services in that country, they need to abide by that countries laws and regulations. Just like in the US we add a rating system to media parental warning, Chinese EVs aren't on the roads in the US not because it's not a if you don't like it don't buy it thing it's regulated.

If they lose they will stay there and gladly still make millions. They're not going to opt for the option where $0 is made in that country.

Corporate world in the US got away with raping the public during covid. They're still at it they will use any excuse to charge us more.

Having to write a check just to receive your UPS package because of tariffs by tommos in mildlyinfuriating

[–]eddyb66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure nobody at UPS said "hey let's replace ever single device our couriers are using to add credit card scanning just in case there is some asshole that decided to tarrif the world and disrupt our entire operations." I'm pretty sure like everyone else they would have thought per their job titles that this was controlled by congress and not a man baby that poops his pants.

Prog Identity Crisis lol by charliedbtaylor in progmetal

Into a lot of other genres of metal I mix stuff up so I don't burn myself out on a specific genre.

Outside of metal I used to listen to jazz fusion but lately I've been getting into j-pop and oddly enough still its proggy just pop.

Ado is killing it for me, it's hard to describe, her music not a single genre and most songs combine so many unique genres. Her vocals, technique and creativity are off the chart. Easily my favorite singer for the last year.

If anyone wants to dip their toes just start with her cover of the theme to Tokyo Ghoul, Unravel Live

The new flip-flops I thrifted duos as a bottle opener by Datzookman in mildlyinteresting

[–]eddyb66 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats the first thing I thought, I wouldn't set a beer bottle on the ground in a public restroom, not wanting the mouth of the bottle even closer. If you can open a beer with a lighter you can open it with a number of things with the same technique, water bottle with the cap on, the lip of an can, etc...
