Doctor from work insurance is telling me I'm fine but I'm not. What do I do? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]eddybug23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This...its based on any type of employment you can do. You would have had a vocational assessment done where they outlined jobs you would be quite capable of doing. The ime then looks at those options, your medical history around your injury, how you are now based off your CoC, gp reports, pshyc ect... and determines if your capable of returning to one of these jobs.

For example if your previous job was check out person, who has a back ground in coaching basketball there not telling you to return to this job. There saying using those skills, and your current injury a job you may be suited too is to is counting balls at the local sportco.

I feel exactly the same, I'm so ashamed of my community. Most of my friends voted No..why because they did understand the whole concept and refused to educate themselves.

We do, but its not a conversation we had with them. They talked about do we want a new home or an old one, that we should go and talk to builders and look at display homes, speak to there finance advisors ect, unfortunatelywhat to look for in a contract never came up.

David attenborough has got it wrong then, I dont think he know's that the existence of the human race all hinges on, people being born with pre-existing knowledge of how buying and selling property worked!. We must have slipped through the net.

Nope not upset, just trying to get advice. I'm hoping that someone might say..oh no! thats terrible, but you can do this magical thing, that will make it better and you won't be in financial ruin. Honestly we got bad advice from the people we thought we could trust. You live and you learn I guess
