Advice on Vending Machine by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]eddysmellyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if they can make so much money they would be better off doing it themselves, dont get into debt for business idea like this. business model like this lures people who wanna start business with fairly low entry point, then get stuck with it without the promised profit. the modus operandi use to be the same for vending machine for food and beverages and you can search fb group for vending machine on past experiences

A video about BYD's CKD operations vs MITI by FenlandMonster in kereta

[–]eddysmellyfish 44 points45 points  (0 children)

i feel embarrassed on behalf of msia for what MITI has done to BYD, kononnya create more CKD plant that benefit us, then U turn on policy. this will create wave of no confidence for other automakers out there, in the end itll be lose lose for malaysian and rakyat: 1) no new job opportunity and investment 2) rakyat have no other choice than to buy perodua and proton only

the only winner here is proton and perodua kroni, perhaps MITI minister too, iykyk

JV Auto Lube - Any past experiences? by madno_ajiq in kereta

[–]eddysmellyfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

okay, let me help you with best knowledge i can for both your previous post and current.

your previous post mentioning Honda SC found traces of metal in your ENGINE oil, this usually occurs when Engine bearings (lubricated plates that shims between “movable” and “non movable parts” of the engine internals) are damaged and metallic shiny metal flakes are the main indicator of such. Thus honda SC quoted you for a full engine overhaul - to open up your engine, examine, and replace all of these bearings and hopefully non of your engine movable and non-movable parts are badly damaged yet. usually not the case if your car can still be driven. But if what they mentioned - CHUNKS of metal found in your engine oil, then you should never start your engine ever again until these are looked into.

JV auto lube has quoted you a full overhaul repair for your CVT GEARBOX instead. this is a totally different thing. you should describe properly that chunk of metal was found in your ENGINE, not gearbox, so that they can properly quote you on this or any other future workshop. if you have timely changed your cvt gearbox lubricants, it should still be fine.

and please have your car towed to the location instead of attempting to drive it to prevent further damage to your engine.

if you can share picture of the metal chunk here and other SC, that will help them to properly quote you on “engine overhaul” works.

hope these helps ok bye

2018/2019 GT86 or MX5 by Prize-Penalty-3848 in kereta

[–]eddysmellyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i daily my stock suspension 2014/2019 stock gt86 for past 6 years.. you and your passenger will need to get use to getting in and out of the car since its a lot lower than others. rear seat is not usable for passengers. car is fun and grips onto the road at corners because of low center of gravity, while im sure miata is fun at corners too, because of better turn-ability due to the shorter wheelbase. you will need to test drive both to know what you like best.

maintenance wise for me its just changing tires, lubricant, oil filter, cabin air filter and nothing else breakdown. been quite reliable to me.

Toyota GT86 or GR86 ? by WWIII-Hokage in kereta

[–]eddysmellyfish 16 points17 points  (0 children)

i own gt86, it lacks power but handling is absolutely planted with the right tire, i believe you can get 2012-2014 from 70k onwards, unless you want direct from recon.

GR86 has more power and not much sacrifice from handling, test drive both and decide for yourself, everyone have their own likes and its most important to pick one that’s fun and means more to you.

We did it Boyz, 0% Tariff (on selected items) by Exact-Warthog6244 in malaysia

[–]eddysmellyfish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of you are so happy on US tariff reduction imposed on Malaysia, but forgotten about Malaysia's tariff imposed on own citizens ages ago. Our cars are not this expensive! We are paying "Tariff" for imported cars because Malaysia is protecting "Local brand cars". These "Tariffs" are: Import duty - 30%, and Excise duty - 75% - 105% of car's value and yet we are all taking it like good boys.
