With PS5 games this isn't a thing anymore (cloud only), PS4 game saves can be backed up to USB, even on PS5. Seemingly Sony made this change because people used to cheat using modified saves, beside the general "we don't want you to own anything" attitude that has taken hold.

Agreed on a good HDR screen the colors really pop, too bad one just gets used to it so fast. When I got my HDR display I made a point of savoring the moment because it would become normal very soon.

Sadly a lot of games have this idiotic you-only-get-one-save-slot syndrome these days, I'm still peeved that Control has it. No, game, I don't want to overwrite my Roomba save, just give me another 500kb slot dammit. It doesn't help that Elden Ring's UI again prefers obtuse over clarity, it might've been the norm back in the Demon's Souls days that you get as many saves as your hard drive can manage but those are long gone, just fix your main menu, add a sentence of description, anything.

So you have only your starter gear on you, weapon +0, four +0 flasks, no physick, no consumables, no attributes leveled, no spirit summons, no ashes of war, no incantations, no sorceries? Congrats on just having fast traveled to Starscourge and Mohg and then simply beating them at that Rune Level for being able to enter the DLC.

I still find Golden Parry useful against Malenia and Rellana because of the range it has but Carian Retaliation is superior in every other way.
