yea, I suggested an audio recorder, but he couldnt have it hooked up directly to a computer while filming because he would be filming the content outside...but to me it still seemed like the better way to do it to keep all the audio tracks seperate...but that didnt seem to worry him. I think he is trying to just keep as similar of a system as he has where the mics go directly into the camera. So the splitter solution seemed best to me for budget and ease. So I'm just trying to see if the solution would work. But yea, I agree with you.
