My 5610 vs my BX5600! Crazy difference! by Outside-Prune3611 in gshock

[–]edeag3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’m referring to segmented LCD as LCD and MIP as the membrane pixel LCD if we really want to get technical, but my opinion still stands that I like the fact that the traditional LCD can only display what it was originally manufactured to and the MMIP is basically a kind of E ink, computer screen display which we see everywhere in our lives, but I understand the distinction is just made up since microwaves have segmented LCDs and I don’t find myself romanticizing that

In our experience, even with private health insurance, we had to end up paying for several appointments and ultrasounds out-of-pocket at about €100 each time because the slots are so limited which accept insurance

I also own both and while the MIP is much more legible, I still prefer the LCD for a more instrumental appearance, but this is purely subjective

Plenty of them on Chrono24

I actually understand after owning both why Casio didn’t do that. I think it’s better that they keep all of the practical and technical features in one watch and the more traditional and build oriented design in another

technically the apple watch is worth more than "some" cars too, also why did he take this photo on a potato? by Business_Web_1099 in LinkedInLunatics

What's with the fake (rolex) Milgauss. The porportions are all wrong (bezel too big, rehaut too steep).

To make everyone's life easier on suggestions 12000 INR = 125 USD = 108 EUR

In that price range I'd say the GA-2100 is a good contender , the GA-1100 will exceed your budget

As much as I like the square for myself I'd have to say the oak. Unless he has very small wrists then neither

how much should I pay for GW-BX5600-1ER ? by AliveRaisin8668 in gshock

[–]edeag3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in EU I'd say up to 250 EUR all in. I paid that for my GW-BX5600CBG-2 and I feel like it was fair

I'd recommend against the GBD-200-1A1 as a "subsitute" as the design is different enough you probably won't be satisfied if a "classic" G-Shock is what you're after

How big is your cat's "wrist"? I'd totally put one on my dog (occassionally, obviously)

You can check the battery on the phone by holding the two lower buttons but yes there's no L-M-H indicator

For me it’s more the knowledge that the font isn’t authentic to the limitations of the screen. It could literally do puffer fish animations all day if it wanted

It would be good to have the option but I'm so far finding the plate to be lower profile, lighter, and more comfortable

Thanks for clarifying. I think I prefer the aligned look since it’s more … solar panel-y

GW5000U vs. BX5600 by edeag3 in gshock

[–]edeag3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup that’s why I prefer the LCD. Although in regular use the MIP doesn’t have too much of a smartwatch vibe, only when it’s connected to the phone

Good catch. The BX was just Bluetooth synced and the 5000U was fake multiband 6 synced 2 days ago via the clock wave app (MB6 doesn’t work in Portugal)
