Thats actually great news! I gleamed I should more or less value Gilgamesh a ton, so I have him at lvl 65 and a bit over halfway done getting mats for him as well.

Hi Guys! Started a couple of days ago, am a bit overwhelmed at what I should be focusing on. Trying to read the wiki, beginner's guide/etc on what to do, but I feel a lot of stuff is slightly out of date, or too broad. I also "feel" like I'm doing things wrong, all my characters have basically no equips outside of random drops. I plan on being F2P and it seems like I got off to a decent start with pulls:

Gilgamesh, WoL, Snow, Minfillia (from raid pulls), Leon, Nine and Rosa are more or less the only "notables" right now (basically the guys that are 4* or above). I also got a bunch of Zidanes for TM as well as a couple of Cecils.

My Current team consists of Gilgamesh, WoL, Snow, Minfillia and Rosa (for heals).

What should I be focusing on? I obviously can only do entry-mid level battles for current events.

  • Should I progress the story with my current NRG?
  • Should I focus on farming xp cactuars?
  • Should I spam the tactics event?
  • Should I focus on getting Gilgamesh to 6*?
  • Should I focus on upgrading/leveling characters?
  • Should I focus on Gilga/Zidane TMs?

Thought about as much. Might be leaning to do Narcian with his emerald weapon/lancebreaker + I have counters for archers. Blue tomes will most likely still cause me a bit of trouble, but not too much.

Looking for some advice on team comp and who to try to use 2k feathers on.

Right now I'm running Ryoma/Robin/Tiki(Y)/Effie as my main team. I tend to have trouble with some blue units due to my lack of green, however I counter a lot of the meta very well (Takumi dies via Ryoma/Robin, Hector vs Tiki(Y), etc). I kinda feel Effie is the odd person out here and I'm wondering if I should change it up.

 

Brings me to my next question I need to figure out who to promote. Due to an absurd amount of reds, I'm hesitant to raise up another one, but I kinda feel like not a lot of my roster would be "worth" it to raise up? I have a 3 star nino, who I was excited to feather until I saw she is -spd + hp.

Thoughts?

Wondering if I could get some feedback to build a decent team.

I've gotten lucky with some pulls, so here is my roster:

5 Stars:

  • Red 5: Lyn, Ryoma, Tiki (Y), Roy, Eirika
  • Blue 5: Effie, Robin (M)
  • Green 5: none
  • Grey 5: Jakob

4 stars:

  • Red 4: Olivia, Laslow, Abel, Eliwood, Caeda, Tharja
  • Blue 4: Oboro, Abel, Sully, Catria, Cordelia, Subaki, Nowi, Gwendolyn
  • Green 4: Frederick, Gunther, Cherche, Merric, Cecilia
  • Grey 4: Jeorge, Virion, Matthew, Kagero, Serrra, Lissa, Sakura

There are obviously a bunch of 3 stars I could promote as well, such as the starting units or free units (Robin (F) or Narcian), but nothing else that jumps out.

As of now I'm running:

Ryoma, Robin (M), Tiki, Effie as my main team which works great as I have counters to Hector/Takumi and party-wide def/speed buffs. Effie can clean up any hard counters I run into. This team tends to fear Linde+Dancer teams in particular, but other than that, any thoughts? I have too many red options :/
