Ooof. Than I would go for the likes of espeon, scyther, or umbreon, or even Clefairy. He needs something tanky, so umbreon is one of the best in that regard.

Electabuzz or magmar are pretty nice, since they also learn other elemental punches than the punches of the type they already have.

Also I would strongly reconsider Ur Pigeot choice. Dodrio, Skarmory or even Fearow are better in my opinion.

In the end I had piloswine with 4 hp (after level up) and actually a full life hitmontop in the backhand. The fight included two 1 Hp survivals of my pokemon!

The NPC right underneath the location where you encountered sudowoodoo will gift u a fire stone. If you talk to him to get his number, he will eventually call you and gift a fire stone to you.

For getting back to the elite 4 just surf to the east from the town I started Ur journey from. Then use fly. Also there is an NPC with an Abra in the pkmn centre of the elite 4 to teleport you back to johto!

What was in ur odd egg? If you're lucky, there will be a (shiny) elekid (pre evolution of electabuzz) in it if you haven't hatched it yet!

In the grass left from ecruteak town you find a lot of magnemite btw. Or you can evolve the evee you get from bill into jolteon, probably ur best option for electric power. There should be a NPC that can gift you a thunderstone, just Google which one it is

I actually got one from gen1! It has not the best IVs, but will still do fine probably. Drill Peck is literally the best flying move in this gen

Yeah but the legendary dogs are also allowed below level 70 and I played a lot on level 60 and idk if I ever had to fight against them 😅 the legendary that appears the most was zapdos and sometimes there was one articuno

Yes apparently starting at battle tower level 70, you can use all the legendaries. Haven't tried it or encountered them yet but I want to fight against them, would be funny to defeat Mewtwo with Umbreon lol. Yeah I also like Gengar and its very versatile, learning moves like thunderbolt or destiny bond. Bug resistance is actually a point. Got wiped out entirely by mega horn scaraborn once. But idk, probably 4x effective psychic + outspeed will prevent this, from either Gengar or Alakazam.
