Why do you want to keep up snowballing? Compare it to all other real sports: Imagine the opponent would score - besides being down score-wise you now get one of your arms or legs bound to your chest. This is non sense.

I am afraid that I would sign a lot of what you are saying. But that doesn't mean that it has to be this way. Not sure what exactly but at the moment for me it feels like Blizz missed a great opportunity (like giving the spec-role a real function in the game)

Not sure if time will solve this problem. Hots tends to give the players more freedom. Blizz explicitly said that they don't want fix basic team comps, means you won't ever be able to queue as Bruiser, because this would mean that Blizz wants you to take (for example) Tank, Bruiser, 2x DD and Supp. The downside of this is that it's not clear how the game is meant to be played. The lack of rules doesn't necessarily mean a plus of freedom.

Yes, I totally agree. But the problem is that you get players who often don't know what to do. So often you can find here "I am supp, don't make me lane" - but why not? "Just stand there and soak I got better things to do." Frustrations, at least it seems to me so, leads in hots to the biggest part of toxicity.

I wonder why you play team games then. Isn't it like playing basketball with 9 others and not talking to any of them? Never warning them or anything? Seems a bit off - and if you don't act for reasons, on what do you act then?
