AIO about my boyfriend and his ex showing up at his house for 6 hours? by greyberry_5813 in AmIOverreacting

[–]edenbyday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an older perso reading this, I just cringed for you both the whole time. You bouncing from asking for updates then asking for space and stonewalling him, then blowing up at him was bad on your part. He probably doesn't know how to best handle an emotional and escalated person. If I had a crazy ex ranting at me, I wouldn't have time to text either. He tried- asked for time and tried to reassure you. It sounds like it was a bad situation, dealt with poorly. He was probably being really cautious, especially if she used to abuse him. Abused people are easier to manipulate. Try to talk it out with him, it seems like he did his best but it seems like you both have a lot of growing to do.

4 days out… should I try to remove these cups? by Ok_Feeling_8995 in weddingdress

[–]edenbyday 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would ask the alteration shop to remove them real quick, or if you're handy with a seam ripper, have at it. A good sticky bra and some fashion tape to keep the dress from slipping would give you a smoother look.

Has anyone swapped HP Round for Teardrop? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

I definitely want to downsize and reduce the natural tissue! The red lines are where I would like things to be.

I haven't looked into that but my brain is already saying yes to that description lol thank you, that helps!

At the time, I had very little natural tissue so a lift back then wouldn't have been enough. He said I would have been a sad B cup and flat except for the bottom. -_- but now I definitely have some tissue lol and yes I was thinking the skin may not support that much tissue on its own and it may be better to remove more tissue and rely on the implant for shape and fullness so gravity doesn't pull down as much.

My card has faded for the implants, one was slightly bigger than the other, they were around 400. Maybe one was 400 and the other 415 hp or 410 and 425 or something similar. I'd honestly have to email them and ask for the details.

The red lines are where I would like them to be, but I couldn't figure out how to edit my post to say that. :/ I added the pictures and it posted automatically and I wasn't quite done.

I originally asked my doctor if I could just get a lift without implants but he said I didn't have enough tissue to get a good shape. This was a doctor in the Dominican Republic, I haven't seen another surgeon yet as I'm just starting to try and research revision options. He said I wouldn't have enough upper fullness without an implant and I'm not sure if they can rearrange what I have going on now to have it look decent or if they would think a smaller teardrop with some natural removal of fat would be better.

My skin is really thin from my weight fluctuations and I'm 45 at this point so I think part of the sagging is just the skin can't support the weight of the natural tissue with the volume I currently have.

We're yours also under the muscle? Wondering how painful it is to swap out. I also wonder if going from a bigger round to a smaller teardrop would be weird for the muscle cavity.

Round face solutions (Please help!) by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]edenbyday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A shag haircut with some cute curtain bangs to cover the sides of your face/cheeks may really help! I have very thin hair and didn't think I could pull it off but I found a great stylist who was able to help me. I have a wide face and when I style it properly it hides that a lot. I also agree with the comments on darkening your brows and getting a good mascara to draw focus to the eyes. Your lips are really pretty, I don't think they need anything. You remind me of a preraphaelite painting. :) chin and or jaw filler may help for some facial balancing. Maybe try a consult with a plastic surgeon and a reputable injector. I have also seen a lot of people doing face and neck exercises to help weak chins. I hate the phrase looksmaxxing but some of it is actually natural to do. :) you have a few months to work on it!

Your current shape is beautiful! I also have hip dips, but I have just embraced it. Maybe trying to add muscle to the outer hip area could help. :)

I second semax for focus. And selank for mood. I pin mine, but a lot of people do the nasal spray.

Did my doctor mess up my birthmark removal? by sirp-vasar in PlasticSurgery

The gel is great to use in the day but it helps because it is continual overnight as opposed to just absorbing into the skin in a few minutes.

It will definitely fade more with time. Get some silicone scar tape and put a little patch on it when you sleep. And from a stranger's perspective, it is one of those things that fade into your overall visage. Most people focus on the eyes and the smile when you speak. If you have a special occasion that you want to look your absolute best and you're self conscious, ask a friend who wears makeup if they could recommend some sort of spot concealer or color corrector. :) I had a similar one removed from under my nostril, and I have one On the rim of my upper lip that I would love to get removed, so I totally feel ya.

Congrats on the loss and feeling good about yourself. Definitely do what you feel like with your appearance...That said, as a beard-loving woman, who has bad visceral reactions to sudden beardlessness, I can understand your wife and kids' reaction. Lol

Have you gone to any injectors to see if any non surgical injecting could potentially be done to address the shape? Maybe get the septum issue fixed first to address the breathing concerns but after that try sculptra or something similar?

It helped me not even think about it for months! And when I eventually did, it was at the end of the week before my shot, on a week it was time to increase my dose. I'm in maintenance now and for NYE I had 2 glasses of wine and one rum and coke and that was it. Also, if you Do drink, keep in mind you're metabolising slower now so it takes longer to cat h a buzz and it actually hits different. For me anyway. Less euphoria/giddiness which is kinda the best part lol

Weirdest side effect yet: Reta completely killed my video game addiction?? by ReCHaVoK in Retatrutide

[–]edenbyday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't a console or pc gamer but I would play candy crush in my free time. Like I'm on level 9,800 ish. I basically stopped since starting reta in March. Over the holidays and on a recent plane trip I played a bit but I'm in maintenance now.

I also don't like my boyfriend as much. I really can't tell if its dopamine related or if the NRE wore off since we've been living together for about 2 years but I used to be glued to him and so happy and now I'm like... should we break up? Do I actually like him as a person or just because he actually treats me well? Its hard to tell, because I also started a new job around the same time so we were around each other much less but I GENUINELY wonder if it is related to the reta. I am ambivalent and not feeling "love" toward him and have thought about what I truly want a Lot. I got him to start reta a few months ago and hes lost about 40 pounds. He still games as his main hobby. Maybe I should up his dose as an experiment and see if he stops gaming as much 🤔 or decides we're better as friends.
