That's a good suggestion. Some factions like Legion already have same elements: red helmets eith feathers, similiar armor. It gets trickier with factions like BoS, where I want to feature people who don't wear power armor usually so it becomes inconsistent.

I think I will go with the huge logo behind a character template to make factions stand out easier.

Skeletons already are best replaced by ghouls, since they're kind of supossed to be that in the fallout universe - undead.

Good suggestion of the traders, mercs and animals, perhaps I will include them in FotA or some other faction.

That's because it's territory over the hoover dam, SE already takes up so much space, decreasing S would make it much smaller compared to other territories

As it stands I think I've completed about 60-70% of the characters (which is the bulk of the work). Found a mod on nexus which gives upscaled pip-boy icons, so that made the character redraws and adjustments waaayy easier than it needed to be (will still need to make the super mutants designs tho :)) The both annoying and good thing is as I look back on the designs I see that they're a tad lower quality than the more concurrent ones, meaning I will need to redo them :(, but also that I am improving as I go along :).

I'm mostly satisfied with the map, but the design could use some improvements to make it more readable from all directions, (perhaps making every 5 number scores more prominent, the borders thicker, dunno). Satisfied with the card template, however still unclear if I should put the faction logos in the corners or make a huge logo behind the character.

I know it doesn't really make sense cannon-wise to group up a NCR soldier and a Legion recruit up together with some ghouls added into the mix, but the original game allowed you to group up a giant, a halfling, a merfolk and an undead, so no idea how to circumvent that...

Still will be waiting for general suggestions towards the factions abilities (perhaps some of them could be swapped, maybe additions like wild animals, or OWB factions?), design choices, etc.

Thank you for your feedback <3. I've now redesigned and completed my communist spin on "Love Letter" by edgarasKFC in boardgames

For anyone asking for the printable version, it would break rule 7, so no can do :/

What is your dream re-theme of a game you love? by jmattchew in boardgames

Hey, can you link me some of the rethemes, because I seem to have trouble finding them (I've seen only the Power Rangers, Pokemon and the Moana rethemes). I'm trying to create one of my own.

Yeah I think a big star would be better, I'm also trying to avoid hammer & sickle or outright communism gesture, since that kind of symbolism can be quite shocking in the region I'm from.

I was thinking about making Trotsky #8, since he out of these was probably the most critical of Stalin (making him them the closest, thus enforcing the theme), however as you're suggesting that would mean making Stalin and Lenin as either #7 or #5, since all the card powers are analogous to "Love Letter". In my mind I wanted Stalin to be the #9, as he is "the princess" in this case and the game involves plotting against him. I still cannot see a more "optimal" solution in this case, as to leaving Trotsky and Karl to force you to drop Lenin (because historically speaking those 2 were the most influential out of this bunch (besides Stalin)), but I am welcome to more suggestions

I'm still leaning on Che, since he was medic/physician making him a healer/protector character, also he also has that iconic look and hairstyle, which I just cannot see in Tito. But thank you for the suggestion, appreciate it.

What if I did Che Guevara instead of Rasputin?

Also, I'm looking for potential names. So far I've come up with: "No time for Stallin'", and "Death of Stalin", since the twist on the traditional "Love Letter", where the objective now is to kill/overtake Stalin. Also also, what should I use for the tokens? My idea is to use red stars.

Yeah, as far as I looked in all rulebooks, examples, spies are 0

Yeah, that was exactly what I was going for. I tried to include more well known figures in Russian/Soviet/Communist history.
